Ride-A-Way Vehicle Transport

This company assigned a driver that didn't show up. I tried calling and left voice mails, and never received a call back. I've tried emailing without any luck. They refuse to return my deposit. The company states they will work to resolve any problems, but that hasn't been the case with me.

BEWARE, THIS COMPANY IS A RIPOFF. Paid $125 deposit for a total quote of $600 to transport car from MO to GA. Scheduled pickup for 6/16 to 6/19. As of 6/20, the driver never showed up. No phone call, email nothing. The company just blew us off. Don't bother trying to call them. You will only get a voice mail which they never return. Try it for yourself 877-597-6373. Their website is total BS. They guarantee 24/7 service but that never happens. I can't understand how this company is still in business. BUYER BEWARE, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

BEWARE SIGNING THEIR CONTRACT, IT SAYS DEPOSIT NOT REFUNDABLE.

Luckily, I found a transporter that picked up my car with 24 hrs notice and delivered it in 2 days. No problems.

We booked our vehicle transport from Florida to CA, 2 months in advance. One week before the move date I called the Sales Manager to confirm, she agreed that everything was set and no problems about our pick up. ON THE DAY OF pick up they called to say that the driver required $300 more before he would agree to pick up our car in 2-3 additional days!! We fly out the next day! They didn't even guarantee the actual move date!!! After an hour of stressing over what we plan to do, we cancelled our contract VIA email because they wouldn't even pick up the phone or return our calls!! After a week of emails & calls, they said they would refund our deposit IN FULL! well that hasn't happened yet! It's been 2 1/2 almost 3 weeks!! NO ONE is still answering or replying. The home movers who recommended them to us, OCEAN MOVING AND STORAGE, are telling us that they are probably on vacation! REALLY?? well they must be enjoying it on our $400 deposit!
Ask your family/friends for a recommendation on car transport. Make sure they had a great experience!! DO NOT USE RIDE A WAY VEHICLE TRANSPORT!!
