if i could give this place 0 stars i would just because of a rep name Joshua! he called my dealership and because he didnt get the response he wanted he hung up. i wouldn't use this company if it was the last company available. i would transport a car on my back before using this company!

Horrible customer service. I would not recommend these guys. They're a waste of time and don't understand what customer service is. I had to constantly try to get and update and just got the run around and excuses and how it's my fault because I asked for the cars to be dropped off after a specific date. That's funny because that was never informed to me until after I reached out on the day the car was supposed to be delivered. Did I say they had 2 weeks to get this arranged and as of now, still haven't heard. I contacted another shipping company and they got the vehicles picked up the next day for only $150 more in price.
Incredibly unethical and nasty. They can't seem to get their communication straight in their dispatch office. Worst experience ever!
Made promises he could not keep just to tie up the transport. Do not believe what Jake tells you.
Don't go with these guys. They're a waste of time and don't have the decency update their client when they can't complete the delivery order they've agreed up on. Adam will call you weekly to use them for transport and when you finally do. Hes a let down. Wish I could give them a 0
I worked with Phil from rite way auto transport to p/u in Columbus Ga and deliver to Aynor SC, the driver was dispatched within 24-hrs after that the transaction turned to s**t. the driver lied about pick up times and arrived a day late at the dealership, then was going to deliver in the late evening well after dark the same day, however, he never arrived. The next day he was coming at 5:30 pm and that never happened, again he wanted to deliver after 9:00 pm and was told no. He finally arrived on Sunday morning at 10:21 after telling us 9:30. Overall 2-days late which messed up my scheduling and I had to reschedule with relatives to be on-site in case the Driver decided to actually show up. throughout this process, I emailed and called Phil from rite way, but never received a callback or response to the emails. So as others have said once they have your money they do not want to deal with you and will not respond to your calls. This company was referred by the dealer I was working with and I have already reached out to them so they can remove this company from there referral list, so no one will have to deal with this overpriced lying company In the future.
I already went and reported them to the business bureau. I stop transporting for this company because they take a full month to pay and do not abide to the contract that is signed. When you call to get payment update they have zero customer service etiquette. It's best to do business with other companies. DONT USE THEM!!!!!!
Communication is poor. I recognize I was having delivery during a holiday period and account for that. However in order to receive any update in shipping I have had to initiate and hope for a response. Only to be sitting on the day I was expecting my vehicle to be delivered and receive a text stating that I can now expect it, not tomorrow or the next day but in a few days. They cant even provide a day to expect, but a window of days?!?! Customers make plans surrounding the commitments made and paid for to the company and there is no recourse when those commitments are not meant, or at least kept up to date. It is not complicated to let a customer know prior to the last minute what and why is going.
UPDATE: still no delivery 3 days later and if I hadn't reached out to dispatch, I doubt they intended to tell me the driver is still running late. This place has no control or credibility. From what dispatch told me today, the driver is less than 3hrs from my location at 11am this morning, and maybe will be able to make my delivery late this evening. Absolutely poor and untruthful business dealings!
don't use this service! they dented my truck on transport. $2900 of damage to a truck i never touched. they didn't deliver to the scheduled address. i had to travel over an hour outside of the intended drop off. now they are denying the claim for damage. they won't even adjust the fee that i payed. using this service and corresponding with blair was one of the worst decisions i have ever made. absolutely awful in almost every way possible!
Pete V. Was horrible. Never picked up my vehicle and never communicated with me. Then he lied saying he had someone only he didn't. Left me stranded and didn't have the courtesy to apologize.

Keep on looking, do not stop, just look away. Your basic bait and switch auto transport company. Minus 5 stars. Avoid the stress be calm and go with another company. IMHO.
E SHAY.
I reached out to multiple companies to get a quote on shipping an inoperable vehicle to me from Texas that I just purchased. I found multiple companies, but Rite Way gave me the best deal, so I decided to go with them. I gave them plenty of time to get it scheduled with "one of their drivers", which was about 2 weeks before it needed to be picked up. Just so you know, they are just a broker for drivers, and they don't actually have their own drivers. Anyways, they set up the pick-up for me and all seemed fine. You have a 72 hour window for pick-ups typically with this type of shipment. So 2 weeks go by and I haven't heard anything at all. The 1st day in the 72-hour window went by, and I heard nothing. The 2nd day went by, and still I heard nothing. Mid-way through the 3rd day, the seller contacted me and wanted to know what's going on with the pick-up, so I call Rite Way to find out. Apparently "there's a lot of vehicles heading to the north east so the driver wants an additional $200 to do the pick-up." I believe this is just a tactic to get more money out of me, but at this point, I just need the vehicle picked up. So I agreed to it, and shortly after the auto-hauler contacted my seller to schedule the pick-up. I figured everything is fine at this point.
Now it would be picked up 2 days later since the driver wouldn't be in the area until then. The driver was not informed that it was inoperable by Rite-Way, even though I told this to them many times and it's even listed on the paperwork I had with them. My seller still confirmed with the actual driver that he would arrive in 2 days and he would help him load it up. So that day arrives, and the driver doesn't show up. The seller tried reaching out to the driver numerous times, but he doesn't answer. Finally, at 8:30pm, the driver gets back to my seller. The driver said to him "I thought I canceled that one" and said he would call him back. The driver then called back 15 minutes later and said to my seller that I "cancelled the shipment because it was inoperable." I did not cancel the shipment, so I know he was lying. I reached out to Rite Way, and left a message.
Someone called me back the following morning. Someone different always calls me back for some reason. They said that the driver showed up and since I listed the vehicle as operable, he wasn't going to take it. They said he needed $200 more to pick it up now and he's still in the area. At that point I was fed up, and I said that I'm going to find someone else. The driver never showed up to the seller's location, which they told me he did, so they lied about that. They are trying to get $400 more from me from what I was quoted, which is less than all of the other companies I originally reached out to. It would actually cost me less to fly to Texas, rent a truck and trailer, and drive it back myself for the total price they wanted!
I will never work with Rite Way again, and I hope no one else does. Their customer service is horrible and they try to swindle you out of your money, and lie to you as well! Steer clear of them at all costs!!!
I got a car shipped from north carolina to new jersey. Rich seemed like a nice guy but it wasn't a great experience at all. The car was supposed to be picked up on a friday but didn't until monday. Then was promised the car on wednesday so i took the day off from work. I recieved a call from the driver around noon and said he can't make it until thursday. When i told him i took the day off he said sorry and hung up. I called rich and he said he new nothing about it. He called back and said sorry but it's not coming. I hate writing a bad review on anyone and it was only a day late but when you take a day and a half off of work that cost me money i get upset.
I just moved my mother's car from West Palm Beach, Florida to the Boston area. I worked very hard to find a good company to transport her 2009 CRV. I found the Rite Way Auto Transport, and was delighted with my decision.
Steve and Alexis were fantastic. They are easy to communicate with, extremely professional, and they quoted me a price, and stuck to the price they quoted. They were extremely reliable and dependable. I met the driver who picked up my mother's car at an easily agreed-upon location, since he could not pull up to her unit at City Place in West Palm Beach, Florida. He carefully looked over the car for any damage, and then was very careful in loading it onto the car carrier. The driver picked up the car up on Tuesday, as agreed, and the car arrived near my mother, as agreed, on Sunday. It was the perfect transaction!
I can recommend this business to anyone wanting good customer service and an honest company to deal with.
Rite way? Oh they only made my
Wife wait for 2 hours for a pickup and didn't show at all. No phone call or anything. I called the company multiple times throughout the day to get a solidified time and it wasn't until 5 in the evening that they finally set a time and they didn't show.
The low price is tempting don't bite spend a little more and use someone else. Because when they don't show you'll be paying for a last minute pickup from another company and then you'll really pay for it.
We opted Rite Way Auto Transport to move our car from Bellevue to Houston. We had filled the online info and we received a call in about 15 minutes. They had asked us the details about the car, date of pick up, Location etc. Once the deal was signed, the date of pick up was finalized and they told us that the driver would call us before the pick up. There was no call from the driver and we had to call them up again before their closing time. The guy whom we spoke to named Pete was very helpful, he checked and said the pick up was in Schedule on the day mentioned. The driver had called us in the afternoon on the day of the pick up (24th Feb) when he was nearby apartment. Once the car was loaded we were told that the delivery would be on Tuesday (3rd March).
After that there was no communication from the driver. On Monday we had called to check the progress and we got to know that the delivery was not on Tuesday but on Thursday (5th March) They said there was snow due to which the delivery was delayed, that's fine but we should have been informed about it. We again called them on Wednesday to confirm the date of delivery and it was on Thursday. We received the mail Thursday afternoon that the vehicle would be delivered by evening. The Driver had called us once he was near the leasing office of the apartment.
The Car was good in condition and none of the items were touched. There was NO DAMAGE to the car. We asked him when he started from Bellevue and he said on Sunday 1st of March, but the person who picked up the car in Bellevue told us that they would leave the next day i.e 25th Feb.
I have taken out two stars due to lack of communication from the driver. Given the weather conditions 1-2 days delay is fine but the customer should be informed.
If I could give them a negative rating, I would. If you would like no customer service and to be frustrated on a daily basis, please use this company.
I hired them to ship both my car and 39 boxes across the country. NOTHING went as they told me it would. EVERYTHING was late from pick up to delivery. They changed their story on a regular basis and never returned a phone call as promised. I can go on and on, but trust me, moving is stressful enough and this company will escalate the stress much more than you need!
