I had hoped this would be a smooth transaction. Pick up my car in Florida, and deliver it to me in Houston, TX. Quoted price was fair, but I didn't check Yelp or Google reviews... MY mistake. Driver called when he was to be picking up from our place in Florida. "Door to Door" service means something else to RoadRunner. The driver called and said he couldn't get to my home, which is on a road. He wanted someone to drive it to him. Finally, he picked up the vehicle, and was going to be in Houston Friday. Friday came, and I got an email, saying we'd receive a call ahead 2-3 hours before he'd arrive. Well, it's Saturday at 1:00 pm CST, no contact with the driver, or dispatch. I called the 877#, waited for 45 minutes on hold, and was told that the emails are automated, and some drivers do a better job than others updating them. I asked what the status of my vehicle is, and the operator couldn't tell me, but would put in a "ticket" to update. After Hours of waiting, I have no vehicle, no contact from the driver or dispatch, and a bad feeling about this company.

Even though the pick was delayed a day, my car arrived 3 days early. Everyone was very friendly.

Highly recommend, high level of professionalism. It's better to use this company than to try to trail your vehicle across the country. I moved from the west coast to the east coast and this was the best company that fit my needs picked my truck up on 3/16/24 and it was delivered on 3/23/24. I love the way that my vehicle was strapped down through the travel.

Delivery from San Francisco to Seattle. Excellent delivery, driver kept in touch along the way by texts. Car was not damaged at all, just dirty considering it was transported in an open trailer.

Avoid this company at all cost!! I was contacted by a sales person and decided to go through them. After some further research I came across the reviews which are extremely bad, so I decided to try and call customer support... Well I have been on hold for an hour multiple times and when I finally got a hold of a customer service agent, she hangs up on me after I said "Hi, I would like to cancel my booking". I'm so glad I Just only booked today and I haven't signed the agreement or any contracts at all, I seen the reviews/experienced the worst customer service already on day one so I cant imagine if they failed to get me a carrier on the date of pickup. I would be scrambling last minute like some of these other reviewers. You will be ghosted!

Purchased a car online in Austin TX to be delivered to Tucson AZ. People were very friendly and easy to deal with. Everything about the service worked well. Car was picked up on time and delivered on time with no drama. Pricing was very fair. Would use again.

I'm going to give you the good and the bad with my experience moving a car from Miami to Naples.

Salesperson promised a one-day service but when the final confirmation came it was a 3-day service.
Salesperson would not answer my call or emails after confirmation of sale. Customer service was extremely difficult to reach.
The good:
Finally, when I was able to reach customer service (after a wait of 25 minutes,) they did follow-up and got me a driver that would deliver the car on the date needed.
Transported provided excellent service and delivered the car along with constant communications of delivery time.
In conclusion.... if this was my company I would fire the salesperson, the agent who follow up with my order should be commended. The driver George was excellent. The latter saved this from being a 1 star review

I simply got an online quote and they relentlessly contacted me every way imaginable. when I finally spoke to someone I politely asked if they would stop calling and the person on the phone said, "you don't have to cry about it!" and immediately hung up.

Aggressively called me until I booked and then I was never able to get in contact with them again. Luckily I got the phone number of the shipper and the third-party did a good job delivering my car but I would definitely not book with roadrunner again

They are a broker company not a transport company , they have mis-represented, triple billed, failed to complete a contract, failed to answer their phones, breached contract, and will extort fees by raising the price AFTER an agreement has been made (and not yet completed).

It's a budget broker. Your car will eventually get to you, but the people at Road Runner won't know anything about what's going on and won't communicate with you.
Their online chat doesn't work. They don't answer e-mails. If you call, be prepared to be on hold for 45 minutes. I e-mailed them info with a photo showing where the pickup location had stashed the keys and how to access them. I had to call and stay on hold for 45 minutes when I didn't get any acknowledgement of this e-mail.
The tracking on the website is unreliable; my car showed as not picked up for the whole 36ish hours it was in transit. Probably best to have someone stick an AirTag in your car instead of relying on their tracking.
They seem to have a ton of staff in their quotes/booking department. I initially got a quote, and someone from booking started blowing up my phone and e-mail. I specified to please only contact me via text or e-mail as I can't be reached by phone while working (like most people...it's 2024) and stated I couldn't book yet until the paperwork was complete and the car was mine. The agent continued leaving messages and sending me e-mails saying "I've been unable to reach you." No, you've reached me; that's what e-mails are.
Once it was booked, they said they'd pick it up the next day. They didn't, and didn't communicate about this. They sent an automated text saying they would text me if anything changed. They didn't. They then sent me a text a couple days later saying the carrier had been reassigned. When I called (staying on hold again for 45 minutes), the person had no idea what was going on and hadn't passed along the info regarding how to coordinate with the pickup location. The agent couldn't locate it and made me send it again.
What they really should do is reassign the booking person to the customer service office. The person constantly calling and e-mailing me telling me to book when I had already stated I couldn't yet seems to have plenty of free time, while the customer service office puts you on hold for 45 minutes and doesn't respond to e-mails.

I filed a claim with them as instructed and followed up many times and heard nothing but excuses and delays. RR would not provide name and claim number for insurance I bought through them and would not provide the name and ins info for the carrier. Just terrible. using them is like a game of roulette.

I'm not sure how this company even stays in business. After seeing the dismal reviews and experiencing the severe lack of communication, I'm not taking a chance on them. I sent my cancellation email, but I do not expect a response. Therefore I'm prepared to begin disputing the charges on my card. Thanks for absolutely nothing, RR.

Difficult to get ahold but finally got through ans they canceled reservation. That part was easy. Just had to call daily.
At first was a little skeptical about the company based on online reviews but I'm really glad I choose them to transport my 3 series bmw across the country. I could not get in touch with them by phone or online assistant, however l, when I emailed them- amazing customer service. By email, I was able to get immediate direct help and responses came back within hours. The estimate they give is the final price! No upselling/ up charging. Pick up was on time. Delivery was earlier than expected. Car came to me in great condition- not even much road dust. Will use again if I need to ship another car.
our vehicles were picked up on the seventh of June in California and arrived in Minnesota on the 11th! There were some damages to my Jeep but they are paying for it and I would recommend this company! Very professional and friendly!
I just wanted to come on here and write a great review since most of the reviews I have seen are negative. This past Monday another car carrier broker we had arranged to ship my mom's car with from upstate to FL failed to show up, and so I called RoadRunner to get a quote. I spoke with Jeff who gave me a decent quote and said he would put in an asap order. Within one hour A1A Transport bid on the car and they actually picked the car up within 5 hours later! Also, I had requested an open carrier, but it ended up that A1A Transport had space on an enclosed trailer which was even better! They estimated the car would arrive today (3 days later), but it actually arrived yesterday one day earlier. No damage to the car and the driver was very responsive and kept in touch with me all day to let me know when they would arrive. I will definitely recommend RoadRunner!
Leaving this review because I was so alarmed by the negative ones. I had a good experience with RoadRunner Auto Transport--they got my car from New Jersey to California in good condition and 1 day late, which happens when you're shipping a car across the country.
When you book with RoadRunner, they assign you a carrier who will actually handle the pickup and drop off of your car. From reading the negative reviews, I knew to contact the carrier for updates. The driver was very communicative with my dad on the day of pickup. I called the carrier the scheduled day of drop off. They answered the phone immediately and informed me of the 1 day delay. The driver could not deliver my car directly to my door because I live in the middle of a city, so I met them elsewhere.
Was this top of the line/cream of the crop car shipment? No. But my 10 year old car made it across the country in good condition for under $1200 and I can't complain about that.
Do not use! please, I am a veteran and was at PTSD decompression clinic based in Utah. I went through a divorce and needed my Jeep sent to me. After numerous unsuccessful call backs, and promised dates, my vehicle arrived 7 days late and then the driver called me and said I owed him 600.00 more dollars then the price I already paid. I was stuck between a rock and a hard place. The driver was polite and picked up my Jeep in Chicago and a week "late" arrived in Utah. Then called me and said I had to pay him 600 extra due clothes packed in my vehicle. I paid him via Venmo and he dropped off the Jeep.
I was quoted 1300.00 and about 2000.00 due to the clothes in my Jeep. NEVER was notified by this shitty company, nor could reach out to anyone for explanation.

When I initially hired these people to transport a 2023 Range Rover they seemed like they had it together. HOWEVER, that is how they hooked me in. People answered the phone right away to take my payment and offered insurance, received the confirmation email....and this is where 3 days of hell and frustration begins.
Day one allegedly vehicle was scheduled for pick up April 13 and if course no call and no one to talk to. I read the reviews about them blocking your number, but as a business owner myself I figured this could not be, they have to be better than that.
Low and behold the reviews are 100 percent correct, they will block your number and throw you into a 1 hour hold time just to end up in a voicemail of no returned calls.
April 14 allegedly vehicle is being picked up, not a word not a peep from this company. They have already charged my credit card and I call and call and nothing. No one to assist you. Not a peep.
April 15, I call dispatch center by finding a number online and say I have been waiting 2 days for pick with nothing and zero communication, agent assures me a phone call after they speak with the driver that was at 8am and now as I write this it's 5pm. No response and no communication from anyone. Of course now they are closed! Shocking.
I can 100 percent appreciate and respect delays, but at the very least inform your customer as what is going on.
To leave waiting at home is just a complete disrespect of your time and as a client. Shame on them.
I still have no clue when this car will be picked up.
Bottom line, believe the reviews. I wanted to give this company the benefit of the doubt.
Go elsewhere with a better reputation if you don't want to be very upset with the entire process.
I'll update this with a grand finale.

UPDATE: Thought I would give you the resolution here. The only way I heard back was having to go to the BBB and telling the company via email I was feeling defrauded at this point. They responded right away with a refund and so resolved my case. It's unfortunate I had to do they just to get a response.

This company is not reliable and not truthful. The car needed to be transported only five miles at a charge of $395!! They picked it up and said it would be delivered the same day. Their website said it was delivered. NOT TRUE! Not only was it not delivered, but I waited on hold for over an hour trying to get information. No one ever answered. The following day I made multiple phone calls, sent emails, left messages. The only response was that it would be delivered which is what they said the previous day. The emails were completely ignored. I finally asked for a manager and was told she would get the message, but that she returns calls in the order in which they are received. I have no idea where the car is and cannot get an answer from these people. This is utterly ridiculous for a five mile trip at an outrageous cost of $395.00. Appalling customer service. My money should be refunded.
I most definitely do NOT recommend this company and would caution anyone against even the thought of hiring them.

Website claims they have 24/7 tracking. Car set for 5 days before leaving my area. Took 5 days to reach someone there to be told they don't have tracking. Currently scheduled to be 1 day later but we'll see. Communication is horrible and they aren't giving the service advertised.
From the moment I filled out the on-line form, to receiving my vehicle at the final destination went perfectly!

The service was impeccable, but the communication could have been better.
Starway Logistics and their driver George were awesome! The vehicle was delivered without a scratch. The skill George demonstrated getting my vehicle off of the car carrier alone was worth the $1385 I paid to have my Honda Ridgeline transported from Arkansas to Vegas.
I have to believe the communication issues are the fault of RoadRunner Auto Transport -- a service company who merely locates a shipping contractor for your vehicle. This may be the reason RoadRunner has to keep making excuses for not knowing where your vehicle is located.
The communication was flawed almost from the very beginning. They never responded to my emails. The website was never updated to show that my vehicle was picked up. I got a text message this morning from George at Starway that my vehicle would be arriving today -- two days ahead of schedule. It's a good thing I didn't have to work or anything.
In the future, I will try to use Starway Logistics or a similar shipper directly and bypass RoadRunner.
As soon as you give them your credit card info they will block your number. I was confused on to why my calls were not getting returned, looked at the reviews here on yelp (kinda freaked out), then sent them an email. Since a shipper wasn't assigned to my location I was fortunately able to cancel my order without a charge but many others haven't been so lucky.
If you have a concern send them an email.
Complete scam!!!! They damaged my car with over $5000 worth of damage and are denying it and won't answer the phone!! What a disgrace!!!! Give me back my money!!
Terrible experience.... They absolutely refuse to give you any updates on where the car is. I keep being told they will call you in two to three hours, well now it's the end of the day and I have no car and no update. It is unreasonable to expect a customer to keep days on hold without any estimate window. I have plans I have to cancel tomorrow if they don't get me this car in time... They suggested I ask my neighbor to receive the car which is literally insane. All customer service agents had an attitude, will never use again
MARCH 16 Two days later I still have no update on where my car is, and no escalation from road runner (other than that they called the carrier for an update....... Wouldn't you do that the day of delivery when the car doesn't have an ETA?). Looks like I will be canceling my weekend plans to wait around on their vehicle. Road Runner's policy for customer service is that they will not call the carrier for an update on the day of delivery, so expect NO HELP the day your car is being delivered. They have 0 accountability over their carriers and no interest in helping their customers.
They withdrew $1045 from my bank account even though I never booked with anyone because the times that were available for pickup did not work for me. I've been on hold for over 3 hours no one answers. I'm calling my bank for fraud and the BBB.
Follow up:
Called my bank and they're appalled and put a stop payment on any future payments. If the charges aren't reversed they will file a dispute.
Road runner finally called me back 24 hours later and said they charge a card once assigned to a carrier??? Wtf. How do you charge someone for an assignment without even knowing if the assignment works for both parties???? I told them I will be filing with the BBB today as what they're doing is a total scam. $1045 is a lot of money to willy nilly be taking from people's bank account.
Update: I'm not sure what the reply states there is an alternate payment? There was never an option to partially pay prior. Regardless taking money for services not rendered is poor practice. It took me nearly a week to get my money back because instead of them canceling the charge they put that charge through and then gave me the $1045 back. Never ever again would I even remotely consider using this place. Horrible business practice, and girl that called me in the morning was rude and condescending. Customer service can go a long way.

Still waiting on my car to be picked up 48 hours past me scheduled day and time. And all I get from customer service is they will leave a message for the shipper. Called 4 times with no answer as to when my car will be picked up.

Their POV service and end result might be impeccable. I believe it should go hand in hand with exceptional customer service support, from all within the company. There is no room for inappropriate emails replies to potential customers. This reflects on the entire company .Since this is apparently acceptable, I went else where where I'm not disregarded.

Horrible service. I scheduled a pick up, they snatched the money out of my account before I could even blink. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!
I had to dispute the charges with my bank for a temporary credit.
I do not recommend this company for vehicle transportation.
Where to begin?
1. Auto Tracking - No there isn't. Just a webpage updated 24 hours after the fact.
2. Web-based customer service chats - Not available EVER!
3. Customer Service agents - rarely get through and limited efforts once you do get through.
4. My transport driver lost the key fobs to my Prius and my alarm system enroute.
5. I owed them $950 payable on delivery. I withheld $150 due to the fact that I didn't think I'd get satisfaction. When the sign on the truck "JAJ GLobal" is written in Sharpie on a cardboard sign taped to the side of the truck, it does NOT instill confidence.
6. The driver replaced my Prius fob (he had to to get the car off his truck)
7. He could not replace the alarm fob and given the age of the vehicle I may have had to replace the full alarm including installation costs.
8. Road Runner customer service said in an email which I have, "the carrier will make everything right..."
9. Luckily, I found the installer in PA and they sent me a new alarm fob for $75.
10. I then had to get my existing Prius fob reprogrammed at the Toyota dealer to match the one created by the truck driver (item 6 above) for $179.99
11. So I am out $104.95...$150 - $75 - $179.99.
12. When I contact Road Runner "customer service" they told me "You were already compensated when you withheld the $150 at delivery. We consider this case closed."
13. When asked if I could file a claim through the "extra insurance policy" the service rep said "No."
13. When I contacted the carrier, they said "I already lost money on this job, I can't pay more..."
Stay away from Road Runner Auto Transport.

What an incredible experience. I shipped my car from Boston to CA, & I chose this company over the others because they (falsely) advertise a live tracking update.. which is no more than a receipt for the transaction. I have been ubering back & forth to work while starting a new job because my car is now 5 days past the ETA.
Customer service is virtually nonexistent, & when I did finally get through they "contacted" the driver & guaranteed my car would be here anytime from 9am-9pm today.. but of course everyone in the office leaves at 430pm.
At this point I'd be grateful just to have my car back in the condition it was before I dropped off, never mind the stuff I packed in it. I wish I did my research. I'm really starting to worry & this is not what you need during a cross country move. I'd recommend a different company.
I booked with RoadRunner to ship my boss's Tesla from CA to NJ. After booking I saw the Yelp reviews and tbh my heart sank. I was so nervous after reading the reviews, but the wheels were already in motion (heh). It was Wednesday morning when I booked and the rep who helped me on the phone said it would be picked up by Friday. Later in the day I received a call from the shipper saying they would be there at 3pm PST that Wednesday, and delivered the next Monday. Wow! So far so good...They picked the car up on time. The following Sunday (today) I received a call saying the car would arrive at the destination. AWESOME! Car was dropped off within an hour of when they said they would arrive. The truck driver was responsive to my texts and gave me a heads up before he arrived. No issues whatsoever.
I never leave reviews anywhere but had to post a comment since there were so many negative ones here. Great service, Alex!
Had a horrible experience with another company, booked RoadRunner after waiting two weeks for the other company, booked RoadRunner on 5/03 got assigned a carrier on 5/04 car was picked up on 5/05 and delivered on 05/14 . Shipped from WA state to NC ! Really recommend this company. Was about $2000 to ship .
I called for a quote and they literally hung up on me. I was willing to accept that it could have been accidental, so I called back and was promptly hung up on again.
A broker that was actually willing to take my call got my business. Screw these guys.
We shipped a classic car from WA to NH for about $3500 in an enclosed hauler. After not getting matched up with a truck after 1.5 weeks of waiting on Montway, we tried RoadRunner, and we were matched up with a truck in 30 mins. It seemed to be a 3rd party hauler, but that was fine, very typical in this business. They could meet us closer to the big city, not out in our small town. But the driver was nice and loaded it onto a long 2-car trailer hauled by a large pickup truck. He got it across the country in 4 days with no issues, and delivered to our drop-off point. It's very common in this business that you won't get pick and delivery exactly as you want it, you have to take what they can give you, the weather, traffic, and mechanical issues throw things off all the time.
These guys must have turned it around . Had great communication the whole way through. Pickup was towards the end of the day but the driver was texting me with updates the whole time which made it easy. Someone from their office followed up as well. Drop off was also timely and driver communicated with my contact who was picking it up. No issues through the process.

I am a real customer and in no way affiliated with Road Runner Auto Transport. Suffice it to say that over the weekend while I was waiting for Road Runner to pick up my new car, I stumbled upon these Yelp reviews and was terrified. That said, my experience was nothing like the 1 and 2 star reviews I read in this thread. I was very pleased with the service I received from RoadRunner Auto Transport in shipping my new car from Chicago to Metro DC. I made a reservation with a competing firm Wednesday October 27, and was told my car wouldn't be picked up until November 6 - nine days later.
As a result, I canceled the reservation with the other company, booked with RoadRunner Thursday October 28 and was told a driver would be at the dealership to pick it up the following day. Sure enough, the driver with whom RoadRunner contracted was there when he said, but the car wasn't ready, so the driver was unable to pick it up. RoadRunner and the dealership reached back to me to apologize for the delay and told me the car would be picked up Monday. The driver returned to the dealership Monday afternoon November 1 and I had my new car by 1 p.m. Wednesday November 3 - three days before the other company said my car would be picked up.
I've read in these 1 and 2 star reviews that other customers have had trouble getting in touch with RoadRunner's customer service agents, but that was not my experience at all. Every time I called the rep who initially contacted me, he answered within a minute or called me back within a half hour. In addition, two chat agents (including one who contacted the very polite and professional driver who called to me provide his location and an accurate delivery estimate) also responded instantly. Again, I'm quite pleased with the service I received from RoadRunner Auto Transport and highly recommend them.

While I would never discredit the reviews previous to mine, I must say that I had an absolute perfect experience. For those who are unfamiliar with how this whole business works, I'll give a quick run down.
1. Customer reaches out to roadrunner looking for car shipment.
2. Roadrunner finds a trucking company
3. The separate company is in charge of pickup, delivery, and everything in between.
Most issues I read about, with the phone exception of customer service, are issues with this second company, not necessarily roadrunner. Roadrunner does no transporting. They hire others.
Thankfully... the company they hired was on the ball completely. Car was not only picked up on time, but delivered on time as well.
Was nervous as ever, after reading reviews on here!! But I come here to say that there are success stories... and Bobby B. is one of them.

I was worried but EVERYTHING went PERFECT!! Before booking with Roadrunner, I had a very bad experience with another company the previous week. So bad that I may lose a $200 "deposit" but wasn't about to send any more money or trust them with our car. So I was very weary and honestly almost every company I looked up had a lot of negative reviews. So you feel like you don't know what to believe or who to choose. And even after you make a decision, you still are worried the whole time wondering if it will go well or if you'll be one of those unhappy customers. Well, I'm happy to say that it couldn't have gone more perfect! Started with a quote from Cameron about a month before. When I was ready, the price was still what he quoted. No deposit was required and he let me know that was how reputable companies operated. I was kept up to date and although it is difficult to get someone on the phone, I used the "online support" and always got help within minutes and a phone call when it was really needed. I wasn't sure at first, about how that would work but was extremely happy how quick they responded on there multiple times. Then the actual carrier called the day before and then a warning call when he was headed our way, all on the planned day. He was awesome (Ion) and our car was delivered on the estimated day. So it just went as good as it could possibly go and we are very happy, would definitely call Roadrunner again if we ever need transport in the future. Thanks guys!!
Perfect. They contacted me by phone , e mailed and texted the day before pickup to confirm. They arrived exactly on time for pick up. They also arrived the exact day and approximate time they promised halfway across the continent even while the southern half of the country is buried in snow . I not only recommend them I will utilize their services again. Their prices are competitive too coming in lower than several of their fellow transportation company's.
Easy and reliable service. Was a bit pricier than originally quoted but faster delivery time. No online tracking but great customer service and my driver was great.

Universal Truckers was the carrier assigned to us and I can't tell you how awesome Guy was. Would highly, highly recommend. We dropped off our vehicle to him on Wednesday night and it arrived early on Sunday. Days before expected! Price was reasonable as well. I also liked that we had the option to cancel at no charge as long as it was before being assigned a carrier. But clearly we didn't need to cancel.
I contacted RoadRunner Auto Transport on Tuesday to ask if it were possible to be able to ship two autos from MD to FL....and doing within a week! Not only did they find someone to do it, they found someone to do it within 2-days...wow! I know that customers will not always be this lucky, but I can say that based upon my recent experience with RoadRunner, the team there are courteous, professional and motivated to take care of their Customers! Based upon my experience, I highly recommend them for your auto transport needs!

What a great experience. I started searching for a transport for my daughters car from California to Florida. She had set up something weeks earlier with another vendor but nothing ever got scheduled. We were 2 days out of flying to LA to move her home and no transport set up for her car. So I reached out to Roadrunner and I got a confirmed pickup within minutes of setting up the transport. The communication was amazing and the entire process was very easy. Would highly recommend!!!
Everything was great. The only issue is that I did not get pick up time and place 3 hours before the time which is a little worrying as my flight is on the next day. After the pickup, everything went perfectly! Delivery was fast. VA to CA.

Overall i had a smooth and easy process with roadrunner. I initially set up a transport and it was one price but when I finally confirmed a few weeks later the price did go up. The pick up was fairly easy and the car arrived a day early.
Roadrunner provider me with a great driver to transport my Beetle across the nation. The driver was informative and got my beetle there within 3 days in fine condition. Would use this service again for all my automative transport needs!
My car was picked up promptly and the driver called me to let me know he was an hour away and where to meet him so the large trailer did not have to travel down a residential neighborhood. We arrived in Texas on the day of delivery at 11:00 am. The driver called me at 12:00 pm to let me know he was an hour away. We met at the Home Depot near my son's home at took possession of the car. The delivery was seamless, ontime and the car was a little dirty. The quote was the price paid and I would recommend them again. I also did research on the transport company used for my vehicle and they were a five star company.

We were absolutely pleased with RoadRunner Auto Transport. The driver with Firstline Auto Transport LLC was very meticulous in the securing of the vehicle. Communication throughout the process was excellent. The auto was delivered when the driver said it would be delivered. My son was in flight during the delivery and the driver waited for awhile but the apartment complex inspected the vehicle and everything was great as noted on the Bill of Lading. When my son arrived and inspected the vehicle, it was perfectly fine. We paid the fee upfront and our credit card was not charged until the carrier was assigned shortly before pickup. If we have a need to use an auto transport again, we will definitely contact RoadRunner. We couldn't be happier with the service.
RoadRunner transported my vehicle from California to Florida. The drivers showed up on time, inspected the vehicle and had it loaded for the long trip in less than an hour. I received an estimated arrival time almost immediately. They communicated efficiently, and beat their estimated arrival time by several hours. Drivers were courteous and respectful. I would not hesitate to use RoadRunner Auto Transport in the future...oh, and did I mention that their price beat all their competitors?

I had a last minute, 24 hour notice, transportation job. After a quick google and phone call that they could make the time frame work I booked through road runner. They were not the cheapest service but were solidly average cost wise. Not sure I would really want the cheapest transporting a car. There was no surprise cost increases through the process and the over all cost was very economical. Running the numbers it was about $50 more the If I had done it myself and it saved me 2 days of road time.
The actual shipping company that was booked for my transport was extremely good to work with. From their office staff to the driver I would book them again in a heart beat.
My only gripe about the process and it is very small the tracking feature was very slow to update, I didn't get a notification that the car was picked up until 6 hours after the shipping company let me know they had picked it up.
All in all Id gladly book with them again.

I went with my gut, and also every contact with this company was reassuring, professional, and clear. I tentatively placed my order, an SUV from California to Illinois, and the total was under most others I received. They were prompt and ready, but not pushy, and said they could ship almost as soon as I decided. Decision made, take the chance, and they picked up the car the next day, and it was delivered to us a day before they said, only 3 days later - 2,100 miles. Excellent communication throughout the whole experience, all questions answered, professional service and courtesy, and everything I would hope to want or expect in dealing with any business. INcredibly fast transport. We didn't expect the car to be delivered until Thursday and it showed up late Tuesday. We had covered transport. The 2 men that transported our vehicle took pride in their work and were very courteous. If I ever purchase from out of state again I will be sure to use them. Thank you!

I moved across the country from CT to AZ. They picked up my SUV on a Tuesday and that following Monday it was delivered. No damage was done to my vehicle, it was just very dirty. Which, was no surprise. The driver called about 1 hour before picking up & delivering. Nothing bad to say.

Road Runner did a great job for me! Shipped a Ford Raptor from upstate New York to Southern California. They were responsive, competitively priced, and helpful. It took a couple days longer to get the vehicle picked up than estimated, however the vehicle showed up a week early as the transit time was far less than the estimate. The carrier was Cargo Management Group, and they did an excellent job! Made it from NY to CA in 3 days with 2 drivers alternating. Wow! Vehicle was well cared for and in perfect shape when it arrived. Couldn't be happier!
They don't deliver to your door if the streets are narrow, etc. My car was supposed to take a week, it took 2 days! My carrier even stayed an extra day to wait for me to be able to pick up the car! A bit expensive but worth a safe return. Open carrier so my car did get very dirty. Overall, my experience was great! Fyi they communicated with me from beginning to end

I have now used these guys twice, both times excellent service. Keep in mind they are merely brokers, who arrange with carriers to transport the vehicles. So they earn their stripes by staying connected to reliable carriers and providing good customer service, both of which these guys do. On one occasion, I had to arrange transport quickly, in less than a week for two vehicles. They cam through with flying colors. There is no pushy --- rude --- or hard sell going on here. They charge a bit more but its' worth it.

I called RoadRunner in a panic when another company left us stranded and never picked up my car. I decided at the very last moment to ship my car vs drive it across country from CA to GA. In less than 24 hours notice my car was on a trailer and on its way. The driver stayed in touch with me every couple days and all my stuff that was already packed in the car arrived safely and they took great care of it.

I don't see why there are so many terrible reviews. Yeah, the customer service isn't the best, but what's mainly important is that they shipped my car in a timely manner and with no scratches or dints and no one drove it. At first the customer service was great until the girl got two digits in the zip code mixed up and blamed it on me so I had to wait an extra hour and a half. But hey, at least it got worked out and I got my car. The quoted me $695 to go from Miami to Tennessee. I told them I wanted to stay around $600 so they worked it out and shipped it for $595 instead. There was no price change at drop off and the car was perfect.

I got a quote online that stated everything that I needed to know, and I also received a discount for setting up the move online. The transportation across country was within the timetable that they had provided me with; however, my vehicle came in early and it didn't receive any damage while it was transported across from the west to the east coast.
