Terrible customer service rep from Kevin Johnson. He changed price based on changes they requested, not I. Also the rep told me the day before of the price change instead. I paid due to the need of my car. But my driver was great.

Then he LIED and said he called my husband and he agreed to a different price, and I needed to sign my new contract ASAP. HE NEVER EVEN SPOKE TO MY HUSBAND! Great service delivered on time. The cost was very reasonable. Car was delivered in great condition and driver was very friendly.

What this company does is price the people at a very low rate and try to get transporters to take the vehicle at the garbage rate they offer. Drivers need to be aware that when they post the loads on Central Dispatch for the low and it gets accepted for the cheap, this then becomes the new rate which in turn lowers the rates for the future. At the end of the day, the brokers will still win and the only ones who suffer are the drivers and people transporting they vehicles. This system needs to be changed and someone need to monitor this situation because its really getting out of hand and these brokers as fully taking advantage of all the CDL drivers. The are only playing the middle man in the situation and shouldn't be able to manipulate / dictate the price range. If you are transporting a vehicle from ATL to LA it 2212 miles and to give someone $550 or .25cents a mile in this age should be illegal and you should lose your broker license over it. Please everyone stay away from this company!!!!!

I originally got my quote in April 2023 from this company, for $850 from AZ to WA. The shipment was scheduled for mid June 2023. The driver was late and I had to reschedule (and pay more) for being out of town since the date got pushed out. I then rescheduled it for a couple weeks later and it was another week late. When the driver arrived I received a call that the carrier would not pick up my vehicle unless I agreed on a $300 payment for "extra weight", when in the contract it states there's 200 LBS. complimentary luggage, and there's absolutely no way I exceeded that weight. I told them there was already a contract with a locked in price, and the representative told me that since they're just the broker that gives out rough estimates, it's ultimately on the driver company to give a final price. This whole experience has been terrible and I would not recommend using these guys. I've gotten nowhere with answers, and who knows when I'm going to get my refund. The representative told me 3-5 business days. I had to contact the owner to make sure I got my original deposit back as well. This was such a joke. I would give 0 stars if I could. Lesson learned.

Just check Safeeds FMCSA authorization and tell me what it says .. NOT AUTHORIZE !! That should tell you all you need to Know.!!

1)this company is a pure scam. based out of an apartment. look at the address. the first red flag was all the fake reviews that google is allowing. if you look closely you'll see that over 90% of them are new accounts with only 1 review. these reviews were all created by this sham auto broker. the most generic english names and hints of repeated broken english were another sign.



2) your agent will copy and paste grammatically correct responses. they're never available when you try to call them. when you ask questions outside the script their fake agent persona breaks down and you realize exactly who you're dealing with. dont listen to all these fake agent names like "bob", "christian", "kevin", "richard" etc. they're all the same person.



3) they don't honor the contract you sign. call your bank for a chargeback on the deposit. i was quoted $900 for a move. once the driver showed up he doubled the price to $1800. the driver wanted cash payment with no receipt. i reached out to the agent and he didn't care at all. the first $200 deposit is their commission. everything else is due to the driver. once you pay they don't care.



4) they prey on your lack of time. once the driver shows up it's probably too late for you. you have no choice but to pay up. you probably have a flight to catch or have to leave town to your next destination. they won't give you the company information until the day of pickup so can't call in to confirm the final price. you don't even know whos picking up your vehicle until the day of



5) do not do business with these scammers. they generate fake reviews every day to bury the real 1 star reviews and reach out to google to delete them as well.

I texted Jeff (The broker who I was corresponding with), and on Monday morning, he was able to find me a replacement driver who would agreed to my terms. Dispatcher texted me for confirmation of pick up and drop off addresses, and we were set.



Driver showed up (albeit an hour late), took pictures, and we both signed off on the contract (electric/on their phone). The next day, drivers texts me his ETA, and he arrives (albeit an hour late, but LA Traffic is LA Traffic) and he unloads my car, he takes pictures, and we sign off again.



Upon completion, Jeff may have relayed my information to their manager Richard Kane, who wanted to follow up with me and my experience. He wanted to ensure that the cancellation was an anomaly, and that he appreciates my business. To me, that is what I call great customer service, and I appreciate Richard for his concern.

They tried to get me to Venmo them a deposit versus a credit card but I insisted a credit card or no deal. Two days before the intended pickup I was contacted and told the price went up because there was a shortage of drivers and they wanted to "capitalize" on the demand. I contacted my credit card company and disputed the charge successfully. BEWARE of this company!!! I can only imagine I'd be out the deposit money if I would have used Venmo like they wanted. Lots of problems with this business. They run the typical transportation broker grift - offer a low price, and then raise it at the last minute when you have no other options. Beyond that, they told the driver the wrong delivery address for my car, knowing that the driver could not deliver to the desired address, but of course they never told me. I had to take time off work and get a ride to pick up my car an hour away. They only let you pay through Zelle or Venmo. 2 stars because the car did actually arrive. Save yourself the stress and just use a legitimate broker, it will end up costing the same anyway.

Great company, Albert organized a very difficult route and located good quality drivers. The whole process was easy and worry free. Would work with company again.

I asked for a quote to transport a vehicle. I a text EVERY DAY although I responded STOP. Jeff from Safeeds is borderline harassment.

Bait and switch.
Scheduled a transportation on a vehicle from New York to California they said they would pick the car up the next day. After hearing nothing from them I called and they said they can get it the following day but that now they needed $100.00 more.

I refused and cancelled my appointment with them.

This is not the first time this has happened to me in this industry.

Most of the companies advertising in this industry are brokers and they have bad practices.

It's a shame. They put you on the hook and leave you hanging for days before you either pay more or have to start all over and find a new company.

I worked with Tom Smith, who was extraordinarily helpful in trying to help me find options to ship my Porsche cross country. Tom was always extremely responsive and kind/friendly, and he worked tirelessly to find drivers/shippers for my unique situation (I only had a 2 day window for my car pickup). It isn't always easy to trust people, but with Tom, I knew I had someone who has hard working and cared more about my satisfaction than profit. Would definitely work with Tom and Safeeds again if given the chance!

Exceeded expectations. We spent quite some time bringing an old family-favorite puddle-jumper from small isolated New England town to south Florida. I'm just sharing my experience with this company, I don't know the story behind the science so I can't judge it.
The sale person, Sam, gave me very good quote to transport my car from CA to GA, the quote is $1050 and he added $150 for his broker fee, total $1200, it is totally fine to me. He gave me a driver phone number two days before the pickup date, I contacted the drive to confirm, everything is good. The payment method is when the driver pickup my car, I will venmo Sam $150, then the rest $1050 will be paid to the driver on the delivery day with cash, great deal.
On the pickup day, the problem happened. the driver messaged me his truck is broken, he can't pickup my car. I called Sam, he said he will be looking for another driver, I should not be worried. 15mins later, he said he has a new driver can pick up my car today but that driver asked for $200 more, $1250, so total is $1400, lol. He said it is not his fault, that is what driver asked. What kind of contract this company have with the driver? so the driver can just easy to say my truck is broken then leave the customers in a tough position?! the weird thing is Sam said the driver wanted to have a deposit $150 so I had to venmo him total $300 at pick up time and will give the driver $1100 in cash when deliver. If I connect the first payment and the second payment method, I'm thinking he just tried to get $300 commission instead of the driver ask more.
Anyway, my car arrived, the driver is nice, just loose the trust on the broker
