They will literally say ANYTHING including yes, we have a carrier the night before they "guaranteed" a pick up day and then completely go silent, because in fact, they didn't have a carrier and no it really wasn't a "guarantee" even after they demanded more money for a "guarantee". Communication was also terrible - no notice of pickup, and I had to contact them multiple times to get a notice of when it was going to be delivered. When I did finally did get an update, I had to race home to take delivery as the driver was less than an hour away.

Don't fall for it like I did. I've used Montway Auto Transport in the past, and wish I would have used them again. Night and day difference in business professionalism.

I was then told I would be paid on Monday, for the second time and no response as usual. I always get an email saying the carrier has agreed to pay, but won't. Also a business that does their transactions through Venmo, cash app, etc. seems shady to me and it is.

This was the best value out of the three quotes l obtained to transport my vehicle from WA to FL. My vehicle arrived in good condition and a day before the estimated arrival time. I will use SGT again and recommend them to family and friends.

Very bad communication. Was trying to ship my 2011 Hyundai Sonata from CA to NJ for school. After agreeing to the contract I gave STG a month of advance on my pick up window. As the pickup window approached they were very unresponsive and as the pickup window came and passed we still received very little information on when the car would potentially be shipped. Eventually had to cancel the contract days after the pickup window and go with someone else. For the price, this company is very inconsistent and unreliable.

After no pick up on those dates, my mom called and they told her they were working on it but did not have a driver for her car. It was now the afternoon of Dec. 29 and still no driver. They did not help her with the situation at all. She was flying out and her car was still in IA. Absolutely horrible service. I would NOT recommend them!!

When you have a company calling you to ask you when your vehicle has been picked up, it doesn't make you feel like they're in the loop at all. They can call the driver for you to get updates but it's just easier to contact the driver directly and plus they didn't always get back to me when I inquired about the driver or the location of my car. Update: I did email feedback after getting a response from the company on Yelp and while I appreciate them taking the time to respond and to try to make it right the gesture was pretty weak given all the promises that were made upfront when trying to get my business. It's one of those better than nothing situations but I'd rather not have gone through the experience in the first place and prefer they honor what was initially promised.



Gave me a very reasonable quote and I went with them because they had good reviews on Google and a competitive quote. They also told me they would find someone within a 3 day window so I gave them my window. Day 1 they called me during the work day while I was in meetings, I come out and call back and the spot is gone so I continue to wait and they call me on the last day I would be available to get the car to them telling me it would be 142 more than the initial quote and that was all they could do. Left me in a terrible position because I need to get my car shipped and I won't be in town past today to get it shipped. The explanation given to me was that they gave me the lowest possible quote but couldn't guarantee that price. Felt like I got duped pretty hard, very unhappy with my experience.



Update: I communicated to SGT the hours the car was supposed to be delivered and I told the driver the hours and he told me no problem I'll deliver it during those ours. Fast forward I get a call from the shop that the driver trying to drop the car after after they close. So after promising to find me someone that would be high caliber they find a guy that can't follow simple instructions.

Very pleased with this prompt and careful delivery of my classic 1955 MG from snow y Iowa to Sunn. Thanks for a good job just as advertised.

Simply made the entire process easy and seamless. Did everything they said they would do. Showed up on time and transported my vehicles quicker than I thought possible and no issues whatsoever. I never post reviews but I had to share with others my awesome experience. I'm planning on reaching out to SGT in a few months for another transportation.

I received my car in less than a week. The driver maintained a good communication near the date of delivery. Had a good experience shipping car from CA to NY.

This company is not legit. I contacted them via their website to get a free quote and they said they will not provide it without an email and phone number. When I asked them to just give me a quote without this information they declined and sent me away.
Seems like their website is just a place to collected customer information and phone numbers to send spam to later.
I guess they aren't really big about customer service or actually providing quotes and transporting cars. Other companies are in the market, do not chose this one.

Service was good (not great) when getting quote.
After they set up driver to pick it up it was all over with. Had to meet driver at parking lot because he said couldn't fit his truck down by my street. Had 2 cars transported and moving truck with no problems fitting on the street. Delivery was a day late and when he called to deliver said I would have to meet him 3 miles from house to pick up. Called customer service and repeatedly put on hold. Plenty of room for a truck to deliver to residence.
Met him and wanted to argue constantly and almost fought. If you want your vehicle delivered without hassles, look somewhere else!

SGT Auto Transport worked out well for transporting our vehicle across country. They were very attentive and sent emails and messages to keep us updated. One thing to note is if they estimate your vehicle arrival to be 7-10 days and you plan your move around those days, let the company know. Our vehicle arrived early in 6 days and they demanded someone be there to pick it up but our flight was arriving late on the 6th day and we had to scramble to have a friend meet the driver. We were lucky we had a friend to help, others may not have that friend available.

This company was excellent. They picked up a car for me across the country at an import impound. Communicated clearly. Flexible on delivery. Arrived early. I would use them again thank you

Do NOT use this auto transport. First, they don't answer their phones. Next, they lie about having full insurance - they have their drivers have insurance.

Bottom line, they were to ship my daughters car from San Antonio TX to Dallas TX, and the driver totaled her (new to her) car. The car was wrecked on Saturday, she was expecting a Saturday delivery, and could not get in touch with anyone. She was contacted on Monday at 3:00 PM and told that the car was in a wreck and would she still like it delivered!! She asked what the damage was and the person calling her did not know. Just said it was in a wreck. - Well, the roof was torn off.

There was a date even earlier 7/13/2023, however, that dispatch was canceled due to undisclosed circumstances.

My credit card was charged $215.00USD.

7/16/2023 comes around and no update or contact from SGT.

I made several attempts to contact and get an answer, however, I was given the runaround.
I could not get through on the phone, and when I did, I was put on hold for 30 plus min.
So instead I had to resort to chatting online.
I chatted with the reps like:
"Mike",
"Michael",
"Christian" (the worst I had contact with)
"Oliver"
"Philip" (Who at one point stopped helping ( I think he was just telling me what I wanted to hear, actually wrote "We have said what you want.") and ended the chat mid-conversation no longer responding.) He told me a colleague "Luke" would contact me "as soon as possible". "Luke" never did contact me. Then "Philip" told me "Luke" had left for the day.
I called the SGT, got through by some miracle and spoke with said "Luke". When I asked "Philip" he said "Luke" must have come back.

Then "Deborah"(who didn't even respond in the chat - (the one robot that didn't turn on)) - anyway I think they're all the same person - and they still could not give me an answer. At one point I could only get "Deborah" on the chat and she did not respond at all. I tried countless times.

They are a bunch of liars! Do not trust these deceitful people.

I did not ask for compensation, an apology or refund, I just wanted my car picked up and transported from LA to NM like I paid for.

I just want others to be aware of this middle-man company.

And those little reviews that keep popping up in the lower left corner of the screen are the true definition of "bogus".

Do NOT use this company. Sell your car, gift it to someone, donate it, drive it to your destination, whatever, however, do not, I repeat DO NOT use SGT Auto Transport!

On a positive note, yes, there actually is one, the transporter, Nadim was AWESOME. He kept in touch the entire time: texting, calling, checking in.

Stay away. Nothing more than a dispatch company who hires carriers . Have every excuse for late delivery,lack of communications and damage or missing parts. All 3 were part of my contract.

The company SGT hired to transport my Truck were fast and professional. They showed up and took care of everything if I ever need to transport another vehicle I will call them for sure.

All went according to plan, but I haven't actually seen my car yet in person. So can not say if there was any damage or unexpected issues with it. My brother accepted car at destination on my behalf. Price was better for enclosed transport than other quotes I received.

Do not schedule your car shipping with this company! I wouldn't even give them a star if I could. I schedule with them months in advance and even followed up with them weeks and days prior because they didn't give me an exact date just a window and had to leave my vehicle with a friend and ship it with another company. Their customer service representatives will lie and tell you that your car is guaranteed to be shipped during the window which is a lie. To add to the mess they called me the day after I tried to cancel due to them not filling the order and they told me they could pick it up the next day but I would have to pay more. Go with another service if you want a hassle-free experience. Another company picked it up and shipped it across the country with no issues.

It is now the third day after my vehicle was supposed to be picked up and I have called each day multiple times for an update and all anyone will tell me is "we are working on it." I have to wait on hold forever and each time I talk to someone, they cannot give me an update. Their hold message only talks about "reliable service" but I have not experienced that yet!

We hired this organization to move my father's vehicle from Phoenix to Castle Rock. I was told we could put items in the vehicle so my father left a small tool box he was going to need once he relocated to Castle Rock, CO. My father is 89 years old. The transport company they contracted with stole the tool box. We know they did because we opened the truck while they were there to move it around then handed them the keys. The transport company also dropped the car at the entrance to our neighborhood rather than bringing it to our home which we paid for.

1st thing you need to understand is that SGT is not the one that actually picks up and drops off your vehicle. They are a broker (i.e. middle man) that then contracts out to a 3rd party transport company. The process to schedule the transport was fairly straightforward. I paid extra to set up a guaranteed pickup date as we were on a strict timetable. The dropoff date was more flexible. I received email confirmations. The only reason why I am giving 4 stars is that I did not receive any updates the day prior and the day off the pickup date. I had to call and wait on hold an average of 30 minutes both days before I was able to speak with anyone. After I did speak with someone, then they were better about sending me updates as they still had not selected an actual transport truck. When they did, I was sent the transport truck's contact info who I had to call and actually set up the pickup date/time and location with the driver. From that point forward, all the communication and coordination is with the 3rd party transport company and the driver. I had no issues with the transport driver and he was able to give me an estimated drop off date. He delivered on the expected date, we just had to coordinate the time. Overall a decent experience but you will need to be proactive with the communication and coordination. Will I use SGT again? yes as it was overall a good experience.

On 05Apr2023 I contracted with SGT Auto Transport for an enclosed shipment of 2 vehicles from CA to TX. The pickup date (as indicated on the agreement) was to be on 24Apr (and as late as 25Apr). In verbal discussions with SGT Auto representatives, I made clear that i wanted the vehicles to be picked up on 24Apr and no later than 25Apr. I also stated to SGT Auto that my household goods were being picked up on 25Apr and that I would be driving to Yuma AZ on 25Apr. SGT Auto representatives made it clear that the vehicles would be picked up on 24Apr or 25Apr at the latest and the total cost was $2250. That is what I understood; that is what SGT Auto represented; I would NOT have agreed to other terms. While we were involved in packing and dealing with the moving company that came to pick up the household goods on the morning of 25Apr I had to deal with the last minute "scrambling" of SGT Auto attempting to get a shipper for our vehicles. Late on 25Apr SGT Auto offered to have someone pick up the vehicles at 11PM; this is not acceptable; not what was stated to me by SGT Auto representatives when I signed the contract with them. 11PM is not a normal time to conduct business and certainly not acceptable. SGT Auto then said that they could have someone pick up the vehicles at a later time/day - 26Apr; a day after we departed by car from CA. On 24Apr one of the SGT auto representatives stated that because of the problems that we incurred the contract amount would be REDUCED not INCREASED. Later in the day on 25Apr when SGT did find a shipper to transport the vehicles. SGT Auto stated that the price would go UP from the original price of $2250 to $2850. Additionally, the pickup date changed to 26Apr; a day after we departed CA. We had to arrange to have someone release the vehicles after we departed. We had no choice but to accept the new increased price. SGT Auto did not honor their original contract price that was signed on 05Apr (dollar amount or timing of pickup). We had to arrange for someone to release the vehicles to the shipper; we departed CA early evening on 25Apr. A very stressful experience. I will never do business with SGT again. Terrible customer service from their phone center and the services that they provided.

I had an SUV transported from Louisiana to California. They quoted me a delivery date of Monday and even the paperwork said it would be no later than Monday. I took off work that day to make sure I was there to receive the car. Around noon I called them and they said there was a delay due to traffic and it would arrive on Tuesday.

I took Tuesday off work to receive the car. Around noon I called and they said there was another delay and it would be arriving Wednesday morning. I was forced to take another day off work. Wednesday rolls around and nothing. I called them around 1pm and they said a wheel fell off the transport truck and the car would arrive on Thursday. There is nothing I could do but take ANOTHER day off work(4 total). It did finally arrive in excellent condition on Thursday.

Everything went well except for the constant delays. The only reason I found out about the delays was because I called them. If I never called them and kept checking in I would have no idea when the car would be coming!

The service was good but the communication was very poor. I understand that traffic and a wheel falling off the transport truck are things that you cannot anticipate. Being delayed from Monday all the way to Thursday without communication, and with a "No later than Monday" delivery date is unacceptable. I don't know what my employer thinks of me taking 4 days off in a row just to receive a car delivery!

I had a bad experience with SGT. Overall they had poor commuication, bad customer services and didn't stick to their quoted price and pickup and delivery dates.

Horrible company! Very dishonest! Stay far away from them! I believe they are con artists. I also believe that their reviews are manipulated. I believe their reviews should be laying on the floor. I also believe that they do business under other auto transport company names to play shell games with consumers.

I highly recommend SGT for auto transport. I contacted many similar companies and not only did SGT beat the price they also gave great service with excellent communication throughout the process. They found me a shipper right away and the entire cross country journey went smoothly.

I used SGT this past week and they were beyond amazing! They picked up my car in the time frame we agreed and delivered my car 3 days before the expected delivery date. They kept in contact with me the entire time so I could track my car's journey.

Received a call about picking up my car. The cost to ship was $300 more than quoted. I was told that the car would be picked up Saturday 6pm, and delivered Sunday. Car wasn't picked up until 730 and it's been 4 days and the car is not here. I called SGT and was told the car would be delivered Tues in the morning. It's now 1130am and I haven't heard from the driver. I have lost time from work, was lied to about the delivery day and paid $300 more than quoted. Extremely poor customer service. Would not recommend this company to transport a bike in the future!

I wanted to share my recent experience with SGT Transport, and unfortunately, it was far from satisfactory. The issues I encountered with this company include poor communication, inflexibility, and unjustified additional charges. I feel compelled to warn others about my negative experience and strongly advise against using their services.

Firstly, the communication challenges with SGT Transport were incredibly frustrating. The drivers, both of whom were Eastern Europeans in my case, had a very limited command of the English language. This made it exceedingly difficult to effectively communicate my needs and concerns. I had hoped for polite and considerate interactions during this important move, but unfortunately, the drivers displayed a rude and blunt attitude. Their approach consistently seemed to be "my way or the highway," which was highly disappointing.

When it came to the vehicle pickup, I encountered further issues. Instead of accommodating my request to pick up the car from our location, the SGT driver insisted that I drive the vehicle to a more convenient location for them. This demand was completely unreasonable and left me perplexed.

Even more concerning was the situation with the vehicle delivery. Despite providing ample notice about a change in the delivery location while the driver was still 8 hours away, he flatly refused to deliver the car as requested, even though the distance was the same as the original delivery location. The reason provided was, once again, their convenience. They expected us to travel 90 minutes from our hotel to meet them, and when I expressed my disagreement, the driver went so far as to threaten to hold our vehicle "hostage." This behavior was completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

Ultimately, to have our car delivered to the desired location, we reluctantly agreed to pay an additional $200. This charge felt unjustified and coercive, as it was a direct result of SGT Transport's refusal to accommodate our reasonable requests.

In conclusion, my experience with SGT Transport was highly disappointing. Their poor communication, inflexibility, and unjustified extra charges left me with a strong recommendation to avoid this company entirely. If you have a move planned and want peace of mind regarding your vehicle transport, I strongly urge you to seek alternative options and steer clear of SGT Transport.

I was very happy with SGT. they were very communicative from day one. the contracts were clear and easy to understand. Sergei, my driver, was wonderful. he got my car from LA to Philly in five days! and he was easily reached by text and very responsive.

I shipped my car in May and I thought the price was a good deal. I was able to pack my car with lots of belongings for an additional charge, but it was totally worth it.

Would use SGT again!

could not have had a better experience. I know there are a lot of positive and negative reviews on the shipping companies for vehicles, but they gave me a competitive rate. Pick the car up the day they said they would. our driver was three hours later than he thought he would be I completely understood with traffic. The same thing happened when he delivered the vehicle but again I was completely understanding. They pick the car up in San Diego on Tuesday night and delivered it Sunday afternoon. Like I said, I could not have been more happy with the experience. Everyone communicated extremely well. And I would give this company a five star review all day long.

SGT was selected via a broker so I had no decision, but I had no issues, they were responsive, on time, and also affordable. What more can u ask for?

Pickup was delayed by a few hours but they communicated well. The office always answered and had answers to our questions quickly. Drop off was quick and easy.

Unethical as hell... just had a car picked up from the company SGT contracts with called Thomaz Thrucking out of Framingham, MA. The driver, Odair demanded $300.00 cash and said he could not take the car otherwise. We paid for 100 lbs extra cargo through SGT, but still, he insisted on the cash.... It is a Ford Mustang... I showed him that the contents were almost entirely clothing and bedding... but he still said he wanted $300.00. I gave him $200.00 just to shut him up and complete the

Do not do business with these guys! Our car was never picked up. When they finally would answer the phone they said they were trying to find a driver... After 2 weeks we had to find another transporter.

SGT Auto Transport is the epitome of how a company should conduct themselves. They were responsive from the initial contact until my vehicle was delivered. My vehicle was transported from Nevada to Virginia in just under 3 days. Prices are extremely competitive if not better than companies rated lower. 100% satisfied with the company as well as the transport driver. Highly recommend using them for any vehicle transport services.

Absolutely do not recommend this company. We picked them after comparing several online brokers for car shipment, this one initially appeared to have positive reviews however the process for placing the order and providing them the information asked turned out to be a huge hassle. In terms of price they are about in the middle, not the cheapest (by a few hundred dollars) but also not the most expensive.
We were misinformed multiple times by their phone agents that we had signed their shipping agreement and provided all the information that was needed and that our car would be picked up in the next 1-2 days. This is untrue, apparently in their system our order was not processed when we were told on the phone that it was which resulted in multiple delays. Our car has still not been picked up and now they are saying that the latest that it can be picked up is 6 days after our requested pick up day. In our most recent phone call with their hotline, they are now saying that all weekend days, holiday days do not count towards processing time. They are also saying that the day before the Fourth of July, which was Monday 7/3 was also a holiday for them. I wish that they had been 1) transparent about their policy of 1-3 "Business days" pick up to not include weekends or randomly, the day before major holidays and 2) actually being able to check in their system whether or not all order details are in place and everything being ready to be assigned a transporter. Unfortunately despite now 4+ phone calls to their company we have not been able to speak to anyone who appropriately addressed our frustrations and basically keep telling us that everything is fine and keep pushing back the day that the car can be picked up. This is why we do not recommend this company. Look elsewhere if you expect on time pick up.

Warn your customers you wont be picking up/delivering at the final locations. I was caught by surprise that I had to meet the driver somewhere.

Be a little more detail oriented. I specified that the contact at delivery wouldn't be me but I had to remind the driver twice.

This was definitely the best price and the communication was excellent throughout. In my case, the car even arrived well ahead of schedule! And everything was just as it had been when I loaded it. The one thing to keep in mind is that it may not be exactly curb to curb. My street is very narrow so I wound up driving it about 2 miles to a parking lot where it could be easily loaded on. This really was not a big deal and well worth saving substantially over other quotes.

Arranged transport for my daughters vehicle from Texas to Virginia. I paid extra for a guaranteed 2 day window. At the end of the second day my daughter called and said the car was still not picked up. I called SGT Auto Transport and asked the status. They could not get ahold of the driver they contracted with and said they would call me back. After 2 hours I still did not hear anything. I asked my daughter to forward the email SGT Auto Transport sent with the driver details. I called the phone number listed and it was a disconnected number. I looked up the business and it had only 1 review (POINTA LOGISTICS LLC). Why would SGT Auto Transport contract with a company with 1 review and a driver phone number that is disconnected. Anyway I had to find a new carrier last minute since my daughter was flying out of the state the next day. DO NOT USE SGT Auto Transport they work with unreliable drivers.

I had two cars shipped with SGT Auto Transport.
The first one went fine, but the second car was a nightmare. I had made the reservations weeks in advance.
For the second car my Telluride they missed the three day window which left me scrambling to make my air flights. Then the called back on the fourth day they said they would charge me MORE money to pick it up.
So they didn't agree to either the price or the days for the quote.
This is unacceptable for a transport company. No negotiation could reduce the price to match what was their quote. This is a shady business practice.
I don't recommend them.
