Customer Reviews
I contracted with this company because they were local to the market where my vehicle was going to be picked up. I accepted their quote- right from the beginning. No haggling. Unfortunately, Jon Gener
I called to have a 1997 Camero transported from San Diego to Phoenix Az. I called the 1st of May and said it had to be picked up by the end of May because the storage was only paid til then. I signed the contract and gave a deposit. It was 10 days before the end of the month and it had not been picked up yet. I called and they told me that if I was willing to pay more then it would be picked up. I fired them and called another company which shipped the car for the price quoted before the end of the month. I would not recommend this company. They may give you a good price but then hit you up for more money.
He said to me that he was too far away already to pick up my car! Why are you lying? Would anyone hire a tow if the transport said they would go back and pick up the car? It was your responsibility according to the contract and you failed!
I don't know how you could give them anything less than 5 stars. I live in Oregon and my friend found a car in Florida. Suncoast had the best price. My friend spoke with Jon, then I did. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and didn't waste time. He gave a time frame for pick up. Becky called me the morning prior to let me know what was going on. The carrier wouldn't fit in my friends neighborhood so they arranged pick up nearby at a Lowes. Suncoast contracts out and it depends on which carrier is going that direction. My carrier was Cargo Vikings Inc. I was promptly emailed receipts, bill of lading, client information and the contract. We were able to do everything via email and phone.
Let left Florida on a Tuesday afternoon. I was given the carriers dispatch name and phone number. I live two hours from the drop off point. I'm on the Oregon coast and roads here are congested and windy. I called dispatch on the third day. Ray said the carrier was in Wyoming and broke down due to tire issues. He expected the next ETA to be Thursday PM or Friday AM! Holy smokes....three days early!! We received a call from the driver that they will meet us at the destination between 1-2 pm on Friday. We arrived early and they called when they were 15 minutes out. We waited and there they were!! So exciting. It was two drivers and he apologized for being late. I said.... Are you kidding?? You're 3 days EARLY!! I actually hugged him. They were so careful getting my car off and drove her right next to our truck. Not one speck of damage. The drivers were great. Professional, kindof kept to themselves, but did the job and did it well. We gave them a tip. One of them was waving to me as I pulled away. Such nice guys. This was my first experience shipping a car and it was a good one. Thank you Suncoast and thank you Cargo Vikings Inc.
I did quite a bit of research before selecting Suncoast to transport a car for my customer so i was hoping it would go well... Initially they told me that everything was organized and on track for the dates requested. On the pickup day, they didn't show and at 5:00 pm, we had to call them to see what was happening. They told us the carrier, who apparently is not them because they are just a broker, had trouble with the truck and they were not coming. We were told they would arrange a new pickup, but after many calls back in forth, they finally informed us that they could not get the car picked up before my customer was scheduled to fly out and had no idea when they might be able to pick the car up. In the end, I had to drive my customers car twelve hours for them,
Dependable... HA ! I need to have my car down to Florida in three days, we have called and emailed them numerous times for a date on when they can pick up my car. They FINALLY get back to us today (three days out from delivery date) and tell us there is no one available to pick up the car to get it there on the due date. Mind you I set this pickup date over three weeks ago.
Don't you think they could have called us so we had enough time to look into other options. Thank you for the last minute update Suncoast, absolutely disappointed in this service, very unresponsive and unreliable. Three days before my move from New York to Florida and I am stuck with no transporter for my car because they could not communicate with us.
If anyone has a service that is actually reliable PLEASE share. Horrible experience with Suncoast completely disappointed I would not recommend them to anyone ever.
Suncoast has done Nothing But LIES to my friend from Pick up Date to Delivery Date!! And now being delivered in the Dark !! What have they done to his car??. Keep you posted!!Don't use hey LIE!!! And areNOT RELIABLE
ATTENTION
I need to tell you about the way Suncoast Auto Transport do business. First they call and tell you that they will give you the lowest price possible and (of course) excellent service. They had 3 weeks to find a truck to transport our car. We were speaking with them every 2 days, and they were promising that car will be transport in the day we requested. Then they called us at the very last minute, when we were ready to go home and had our plane tickets, and tell us that IN ORDER TO TRANSPORT YOUR CAR YOU NEED TO PAY THEM MORE MONEY, AND IT IS IN YOUR BEST INTEREST TO DO SO.
Don't fall into this trap and don't get into very uncomfortable situation like we did with Suncoast Auto Transport. Find a transport elsewhere.
