TEL Trucking & Transport (IL)

This is a scam company they rob your money. Be careful with Erica never respond or return any phone calls. In addition she give the name of the driver "Alexis" that driver tells you " I CANNOT TALK BUT HE CAN TEXT" never pick up my vehicle. And this company rob me 785.00.

CONSUMER BEWARE: THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!!! Just as the other two reviewers have stated. I contacted Tel Trucking & Transport and spoke to Erica in June to obtain an estimate for my daughter's car to be transported from CA to MN as she was leaving for college. Erica stated right away she owned the company and her own truck. I wanted a car pickup for August 28. She could guarantee the pickup as she had a car scheduled to be delivered September 1 to Wisconsin so therefore she could add our car to the truck.She also said there would be 2 drivers one of them being Alex and the car would be delivered to Minnesota on August 31. I proceeded to give a $250.00 deposit with my credit card. 2 weeks before the scheduled pickup I called Erica to confirm details. She texted back and reconfirmed all details and gave me the name of the driver -Alex and driver's cell number. August 27 (day before pickup) I called "the driver" and left serval messages confirming pickup time for the following day. Never received a call back. I Started calling Erica on cell and office numbers leaving voicemails. On day of pickup, I started calling at 6:30am . At 10:00am Erica texts and said she had been in meetings and would follow up with Alex. Never a text back and I am the one that keeps texting asking for a status update and she proceeds to text me she would get in touch with the driver's dispatcher. I am not crazy.....when you are told you own the truck and the driver works for you then you are the dispatcher...,right???? Erica proceeded to text me back the driver is the owner and he owns the truck!!! It was one excuse after another. As
You came imagine the car was never picked up. No communication past 3:00pm of August 28 as Erica quit responding to my texts and calls. Do you think Erica ever contacted me to issue a refund? Well I didn't bother getting in touch with her as you can see from the previous reviews that would have been a waste of my tim. Another interesting fact is when I disputed the charge with the credit card company it was brought to my attention as soon as I gave this company my credit card a few hours later I started getting fraudulent charges on my credit card and I had to close it down. Take my advice stay away from this company. Next complaint I will process is with the Better Business Bureau. Tel Trucking & Transport is being investigated for the fraudulent charges with the credit card company. No stars for this company!!!!!! I had to provide one to issue this review.

The company is a FRAUD, Erica is a mastermind of deceit and lies. She overcharged me 3500 dollars and has yet to refund my money. Do not use this company, and the transport also crashed my truck and broke my front windshield. Erica is the most deceitful NON Business person in the world. She has no rating, gets negative stars. If you use her prepare to pay, she will go down. The BBB in Illinois is aware and has dropped her rating to a category b. Chase is going after her for fraud, I was refunded my 3500, she overcharged and sent the paperwork to my card company who is going to do the right thing. Let's all work together and get her out of the transport service. Please respond to one of us, or all of us fraud Erica.

Similar to what Shahrzad stated, this company is pretty much a scam. I paid the deposit and then the shipping company they set me up with was supposed to pick up my car and ship it from California to Colorado. Lo and behold, the day of the pickup, the shipping truck ends up with a "broken clutch" and never arrives to pickup my car despite me paying the refund. And when I asked for a refund on my deposit, Erica says it was "processed by their accounting department" and would show on my statement in 3-5 business days. It's been 2 weeks. Nothing at all. As if a scam company like this even has an accounting department. Save yourself the trouble of getting screwed like me and find a different shipping company to work with. If i could give this company a 0 star review I would.

This company is a scam. They charged me for $250 deposit at the beginning. On the day that my car supposed to be picked up, I called over and over and no one responded to me. The next day, on 7/6, Erica, which I suppose is the owner, send me this email:
"I do apologize our offices were closed yesterday due to the 4th of July Holiday. I can go ahead and cancel the order as well as have accounting process a refund of the $250 deposit.", like it's totally acceptable to forget about a pickup because of holidays.

It's been 5 weeks now, I have not received my deposit back, and they even stopped responding to my emails as of 2 weeks ago...

The staff at Tel Trucking & Transport were beyond amazing. I am so happy that I went with this company over all the others, not only did they save me $300 but the entire process was easy and fast, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Bought a car in California had them transport it to my home in wheeling Illinois. They did a great job from start to finish- gave me a price of $1000 , 2 hours later they had me all the drivers information. Very quick turn around, great service and awesome staff.

This may have been the easiest move of my car ever! I have shipped my car 3 times (as I've relocated for work) and Tel Auto Transport was great! Tony, told me from start to finish how the process works and how they are different from everyone else. They didn't give me a quote and charge me the standard $195 like everyone else wanted to, instead they told me the high end and low end range , asked what my budget was and actually called drivers to get me the rate I wanted, charged me a rate of $100 which I feel was well deserved for all of the legwork they did for me.
