TMShipping
Customer Reviews
Lisa helped me ship my 1965 F100, 1100 miles and I couldn't be happier.
The truck was picked up and delivered when promised. The driver was patient and helpful at both ends. With many other shippers you get lowball promises and hidden fees. TMShipping stays true to their price and replies to every question and concern. I will call them directly next time because I can trust them.

Unfortunately, as others have noted, there are numerous dubious reviews being used to boost this companies rating. In actuality, the rating should be a solid 1.5 or less based on real experiences. For transparencies sake, my review is real. It pertains to Order #1508559 and this was placed for a good friend who is leaving NY.
I contacted this company after receiving the usual bait and switch quote by email. The amount advertised in BOLD was $550 from Astoria, NY to Royal Palm Beach, FL. Like another previous reviewer noted, I was made unaware through deception of the $199 booking fee. As a result, the total was now $750. I attempted to cancel but was told by Lisa, the fee for cancellation was $150 so I would only get a $49 refund as my initial $199 booking fee was pending as they located a driver.
According to item #5 in the contract it clearly states, "TMSHIPPING will not charge the Booking fee (which constitutes TMSHIPPING's service fee) until Client's vehicle is picked up by the Carrier assigned for shipment" - Guess what? TMSHIPPING charged me $199 immediately once I cancelled. My car was never picked up.
As a result, I contacted my CC and filed a disputed over this felonious and fraudulent charge. I have intention of paying them $150 let alone $199 when they operate deceptively by not honoring their own contact stipulations and while deceptively fooling potential customers by providing knowledge of the booking fee in fine print AFTER booking. I will also contact and file a complaint and review with the BBB and Florida attorney general's office. This is a unregulated business rife with fraud, deceit and duplicity.
Quick, professional, and customer service is A+++ Lisa and Team made the process for shipping our car so effortless. After another company made a mess the amazing Lisa at TMShipping swooped in and was our saving grace! In less than 24 hours we had a quote, phone consultation, and driver ready to transport our vehicle at a GREAT price. In a world full of not nice people and businesses we need more businesses like TMShipping and Lisa showing them what real customer service looks like! Thank you all
This was my first time using. TMshipping LLC,
it was a great experience. I had my car shipped
from Chicago, Ill To Bayonne, NJ.
Lisa and team, were great. Polite, efficient and fast.
Pleasure to work with them, They have great customer
service, and worked closely with me and my requests
were granted. The carrier was also very professional and
kept me informed, replied to multiple requests for a status
update via text messages. The car was picked up and
delivered on dates as promised and arrived in excellent
condition. I highly recommend their service to anyone.
TMshipping LLC, and will use again if needed.
I can't thank you enough, Lisa, thank you so much!

The company gave me a quote and after two weeks they told me the only truck they could find was twice as much as the quoted price + their fee. I will never use this company again and would never recommend them. I felt like I got scammed.
They quoted a low ball shipping cost for my car. There was no communication other than they would have something soon. They are not carriers, they are brokers. They never found anyone to transport my car. They lost nothing, but I lost a week of time before they would let me out of my contract without having to pay a penalty.
As others have said, they quote prices that do not include their $200 broker's fee. Their web site goes to great lengths to hide the $200 charge that gets added to every contract.
this is a fraud company!! stay away!! do not hire!!! lisa kept promising a carrier and never found one. do not hire stay away. they are not a direct shipper. tm shipping is a broker. they signed a contract but did not fulfill it. they have not answered any of my emails, calls, dms or texts. they did not pick up my vehicle. do not hire tmshipping!!!!
Scheduled a pickup and specifically asked if they have driver ready. The sales person assured me a driver is on his way to get to me on a certain date.
However, when I called the carrier they said no one was scheduled at all and they need a week more or so to find a driver.
Subsequently I offered TMShipping $1000 more to work on my order but still got no driver. Now my car is just stuck while I'm gone and I have to change all plans for it.
Not sure how real all these reviews are as my experience with TMShipping was so awful compared to what I expected based on these reviews. It was so awful that I made a Yelp account to share my experience.
I first made contact with TMShipping on April 27 to schedule a car delivery. My only request was that it arrive either May 31 or June 1. They assured me this was possible and I was very flexible with my shipping date. Originally around May 18 was floated, and I said that was fine. Then after not receiving confirmation of the pickup 10 days later, I was told to it would be scheduled on May 23rd, 24th, or 25th. After re-stating that I would need the car no later than June 1, I agreed that the 25th would be fine. Today, May 24th, I again had no confirmation that the car would be picked up. I called and was informed that the car was not on any carrier's schedule yet. And that it would take another 3 or so days for the car to pickup. This will now put the delivery much later than the requested June 1st date. Now I have to spend ~$700 on a rental until my car finally arrives.
Thanks for nothing. Please avoid at all costs and take these other reviews with a grain of salt. Would not do business with TMShipping again.
If you knew I was not happy you guys stated that because I signed and had no proof theirs nothing you guys can do that you guys were a third party so I don't know how you figure like I said I called right away I don't yelp stuff but when the email popped up I decided to go about my experiences but seems you guys get pretty cocky about people letting others know how you do business
TMShipping initially offered a competitive price after I chatted with one of their sales reps. We decided on a date and time, and they said the car would be transported in about a week. All was going well.
I end up having to micromanage them a lot with the scheduling. I repeatedly call Carmen to explain to her the truck has to be picked up on a Wednesday. She's very accommodating at first, but the truck isn't picked up like we agreed.
She ends up MIA afterwards, so I get in touch with her manager Max. He charges me an extra 20% on top of what we previously agreed to complete the deal! I figure he's tired of me and wants me off the books while shifting the extra fees for a better shipper onto me. I know he's screwing with me, but I look forward to writing the Yelp review later. I also happened to need the truck moved ASAP, so Max lucked out on his hustle this time.
I will say the shipping company that got my truck over here is good, and I'll be working with them directly in the future. Heck, I had to work directly with them anyway because TMShipping stopped responding to my calls and emails. The actual shipping company is the only reason I'm allowing 1 extra star on this review!
Worst company ever!! Do NOT USE!! They lied about the price, got me stuck then I had to pay $500 more to get my vehicle! They lied and said it would take 1-3 business days to find a carrier, it took over a week! They had the wrong amount posted on the board and I had to find out from a competitor! Terrible customer service, they have 0 accountability! Do not use!!!! Go with a more reputable company!
This is the most unprofessional service I have ever experienced. They fail to communicate with the client and driver effectively. My driver did not show up after delaying multiple times, which cause me to miss my flight. Never sign anything for them without getting the details...this is a scam. Lesson learned
This damn broker likes to charge booking fees without disclosing them up front whey you sign their contracts. It happened to me and they charged me a $195 booking fee after they assigned a driver to me. This was never disclosed to me in the first place and was promised my rate with them will have no hidden charges. Well this never happened. After I found out the booking fee on my credit card, I completely cancelled my pickup and got my credit card to do a charge back on these thieves. I got my $195 back and I encourage anyone to steer away from this company. I know now what the TM stands for. "Too much"
Offered the best shipping rate via a quote online. Then ruined the experience by adding on a booking fee once they had a trucker lined up to pick up the vehicle. Never again should have been up front with the total cost!
They charge you a booking fee of $199 on top of the rate the send you. So expect a different total.
i got an email from TMShipping saying they had a driver to move my pickup truck from Galveston to Valparaiso, IN for $574 with no upfront charges, insured. The next day, they sent an email that asked for $195 deposit to confirm my transport. Even though they said, no upfront charges, I went ahead and paid it cause I wanted the pickup moved. Three days go by and still nothing from them, so I called and was told that the $195 was the booking fee and insurance. They still hadn't given me info on when they were coming to get the pickup, nor was there any acknowledgement that I had paid $195. After an extensive conversation, they said they would cancel the order if I sent them an email and refund the $195. SCAM!
This company broke our agreement twice. First by saying they had a driver, when they didn't and second by scamming me for $195 to find a driver.
I guess I will have to drive the pickup up to Indiana myself.
BEWARE!!!!
my friend recently moved from Ohio and needed to move his cars and one of my mutual a recommended this company.
since i was helping with the move, i saw first hand of how everything was handled and only one word to explain it - SMOOTH! they update you throughout the process.
customer service was great, prices are great, and they also offer military discount which is always a plus.
I just received my vehicle and got ripped offthey charged me almost $200 dollars more than the quote they gave because they added a booking fee wtf, they advertise no hidden fees on your quote then they ripped people off.
That's what i get for trusting this company
I buy cars all the time and I would be stupid to deal with them again
People be wary
Typical bait and switch email states nothing about a "carrier fee" then when you go to sign the contract they try to sneak a 165.00 broker fee in there very shady I canceled and went with a broker who was less and didn't try and hide fee's. I guess it was my mistake for not reading the contract completely but when you have no mention of that in the original email why would anyone suspect things would change in the contract? Hope this helps someone choose a different broker or do your due diligence and go with someone not trying to hide fee's in there contract unsuspectingly. Luckily I did not need the car right away and could cancel but someone in a different situation would be stuck.
I was told my car would be picked up this afternoon......I left work early..then I was told it would be picked up at 9pm by the driver, so I made plans to stay home. I just received a text message from th driver at around 8pm that he was still in LA, and would not arrive until close to midnight. Not acceptable service. Took a half day from work for nothing. Completely ridiculous.
I tried calling to speak to a person in the US about how shipping a car works - and the calls get off shored to some place in Indonesia, no thank you.
