I hired Transport Masters (PJ) as they sounded great and seem to know the industry. I signed a contract for a price and everything was good. I got an email telling me a carrier had excepted and they w

I am submitting this review unsolicited as I felt that my experience should be considered against the less than positive reviews. My initial contact for quote was Carlton. He was professional and thorough in answering all my questions regarding transport of my dealer purchase out of state. They weren't the least expensive for enclosed transport but I felt comfortable with using them due entirely to Carlton. Someone was available 24/7 throughout the process through delivery. They were on time and never changed price or quality of service. My vehicle arrived as promised. I would not hesitate to use this company again or to recommend them. Ask for Carlton; its worth the assurance it will be stress free.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT PROMPT DELIVERY!!! And beware- once you sign, they keep $250 deposit even if you don't go with them ( they say you can use it towards your next delivery w them).
They told me pickup would be Tuesday. I called them Tuesday for update because i hadn't received any communication - and Ginger said the driver had an unexpected emergency and they were looking for another . In the meantime i asked to xcel and wanted to go w another more reputable company. She said i could but i wouldn't get my deposit $250 back.
Long story short- Ginger was nice enough at beginning of this long week but got rude to deal w eventually. It took them one week to finally pick my car up,
Delivery was 3 days so that went flawlessly. But other than that i would definitely advise to NOT use this company. Unless you wanna wait around and wonder when your vehicle is getting picked up... terrible communication.
I called quite a few places. One of the things I liked about Transport Masters was they are veteran owned.
I am very happy with the care and communication I received.
Carlton was very helpful. He walked me through all the steps and costs. Any questions I had- he got right back to me.
He kept me in the loop with dispatch and the driver.
We even got the car a day early!
I would highly recommend this company!

Please do NOT use this company!!! I used them to tow my brand new RV from TX to NV and person they hired was not only late to pick it up by a day but he DID NOT STRAP THE RV DOWN RIGHT!! I got my brand new RV a day late and paint off with dents on both sides. Needless to say Transport USA told me I have to go after the drivers insurance because theirs they provided me did not cover what happened. Not ok!! The driver is still making me payments on damages 3 months later. Horrible experience

I originally had paid another company to move my vehicle, but when they called to confirm. they wanted to charge me another $100 over what I had already paid. I hate the bait and switch game!
Then, I called Transport Masters and spoke with Casey. Nice guy, smooth process. I was in no hurry, so I went with standby and he matched the other company's original quote. Easy. He called me back within the hour to tell me the vehicle would be picked up and dropped off tomorrow. I'll write an update about the entire process once the vehicle is delivered, but so far so good!

If I could give them less than one star I would. We waited 3 months for our car with no communication from the company about where it was or when it would be delivered even after several attempts to call them. We finally got a notice that it was in storage and that we owed Matson a storage fee. Again, no communication from the company that it was in storage. We paid Matson but it felt like a hostage situation to get our car going on the second leg of the delivery trip. When we contacted Transport Masters for a refund we were told that it was all our fault and we wouldn't get the storage fee refunded. Please do 't use this company.

What's a major factor you would consider when searching for an auto carrier? For me it was reliability. Reliability that 1) the carrier will pick up your vehicle as planned and that 2) the carrier will deliver your vehicle on time without any damage. I never had an opportunity to see how Transport Masters performed regarding point #2, because they failed at point #1. It was an absolute terrible experience dealing with this company. They are not reliable whatsoever. I made a reservation (and paid over $1,500) in May 2023 to have them pickup and transport my vehicle from Mobile, AL out to the Los Angeles area in September 2023. Initially everything went well with the order. Although I could never receive an actual receipt of payment, despite multiple requests, my credit card was charged and I received an order invoice. I worked with a gentleman name David. Communication was okay, definitely not the best. Emails would go unanswered. Phone calls and voice messages as well. After multiple attempts at both, a response was eventually received. Given the length of time between the order date and pickup date, I wasn't concerned with David's slow response. Each time I did speak with David, he'd tell me a driver had not yet been identified, but that he was working it. He also stated that the week immediately prior to the vehicle pickup was the most critical, and most likely when a driver would be identified. One thing that I thought was odd was that he told me to call him everyday the week leading up to the pickup day to stay on him, and to see if he found anyone to transport my vehicle yet. This surprised me. I didn't think I would have to call to remind someone to do their job, given the amount of money I had paid for the transport service. Regardless, I did it to ensure the job was completed. Every day leading up to the scheduled pickup date, I'd call David to see if he found a driver, and every day he didn't have anyone identified. Given the timeframe from when I needed to have the vehicle picked up and when I was leaving town, there were no alternative transport options available for me to switch to. My vehicle was supposed to be picked up from Mobile, AL on a Saturday. It was not until Friday, the evening prior, when David finally called to let me know he found a driver for the next morning. He told me he struggled to find someone for my order because I was so remote and out of the way. Again, the pickup was in Mobile, AL and it was going to the Los Angeles area. Mobile is a relatively large city in Alabama right off I-10, one of the major interstate highways that runs from the East Coast to the West Coast. Regardless of his excuse, I felt relieved that a driver was finally identified and my vehicle would finally be shipped. David told me someone from possibly two different area codes would be calling me to coordinate the pickup. He couldn't give me a full name or phone number for me to call them. That same night, Friday night, no driver called me. The next day, Saturday - the day of pick up - no driver called and no one from Transport Masters called me. No one ever showed up to pick up my vehicle. Sunday came and went, and still no one called me, and no one showed up. I tried calling David on his cell over the weekend to find out what was going on. I left voice messages. I sent emails. Nothing. I had absolutely no help from David. He totally bailed on me, even though he said to call him on his cell at anytime if I had a problem with the order. Monday came and David finally called me back, but by this time it was too late. I had already cancelled my plane ticket and started driving my vehicle out to California by myself. I lost so much time and money because of the incompetence of Transport Masters. I would never use them and never recommend them. They are completely worthless and completely unreliable.

Not what I'd call a reliable transport company I requested a 9am-5pm pu and got a pu time between 6pm- 8pm well past that time and still not pu or even so much as a phone call to notify me of any delays. I l'll be calling them in the am wanting answers. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS With American Transport.

they lie to get your money and then keep it once they don't get the job done they are not professional at all and and think they can talk to people with some disrespect and get talked to the same way back they dont like it and keep hanging up on one and acting like they are more then one cuz he's in the trucking industry don't give them ur money no communication at all and get mad that you call them to get information don't waist ur time and do ur research befor u make a big chose but please don't go with this Company I would give it 0 stars if I could.
Buyer Beware!
I booked a reservation with this transport company with Mike Bobish everything was going great until I canceled my reservation. while booking my reservation I specifically asked the question when would my card be charged and Mike says not until the day of pick up. I'm like great give him my card number and Lord and behold not only did he charge my card the very next day a whole month before the scheduled pick up but now after I canceled the day after I still haven't received my refund. I've called talked to Mike talked to his manager Stefano and still no refund in sight. If I were you I wouldn't trust this team they STEEL FROM YOU and make it seem like it's your fault...Guess now I have no choice but to file a complaint with the BBB.
e just used Transport Masters for shipping our 2 cars from California to North Carolina. I found this service through a search on Google and my first point of contact was Dispatcher Casey Stanley. He was so friendly and professional and it gave me a good feeling of confidence right out of the gate that this was going to be the right provider for our job.
Casey was back in touch with me quickly after the first call to confirm our date of pick-up for our vehicles and to send me all necessary information. The drivers picked up our cars from Napa, CA on 3/29 and had them delivered to our door in Charlotte, NC less than 4 days later in perfect condition. The cost for the transport was very reasonable especially for such a quick and safe delivery. Recommend them 1000%!
The quote unquote "OWNER" told me to calm down when I told him I am a customer and the car was not delivered within the 5-7 business days I was told. I called on day 8 which was a Saturday. He told me that I was never told 5-7 business days. He proceeded to talk over me and was the rudest person I had talked to at that company. Then finally he tells me the 4 day span date for estimate d livery. This was the 1st time I had heard from anyone that my car should be there between those date which would have been a 7-10 day delivery. I let him know that if someone would have told me this, I wouldn't have called until day 11 .... I do not recommend this company mainly because of how the so called owner talked to me.
It is unnecessary that Transport Masters USA took my clients order , and lied on three separate occasions . On Monday Scott said "The Transport will be picking your car up today" . On Tuesday I called again and they said "I'm on the phone with the driver, he is going to call you". That never happened. On Wednesday I called yet again, spoke a representative named Dave , asked for an update. I was put on hold. He finally came back, and I asked for the Transport drivers phone number. Dave said "Sure, I can get you that if my computer was working". Minutes later I was made aware that a Transport hasn't even been hired yet. I then expressed my frustration about their business tactics, and that "They shouldn't conduct themselves this way". Dave over-talked me, then put me on hold". Bad way to do business. I WAS a repeat customer, but will go elsewhere from now on.
