Then when they fail to provide the service and you try to cancel, they refuse to cancel without making you pay a cancellation fee that is never disclosed to begin with. -0 if I could. I scheduled a pick up date from California to Texas quoted $800. The day of, Michael Brown if that's even his real name. (Indian accent) said the driver is now asking for $1400! How the hell are you going to change the price on me the day which was supposed to be my pick up day. This company is a total scam and I called his ass out on it. US Star Trucking quoted me a price of $900. After getting quotes from other companies, I decided to go with this company. Huge mistake. They sent me a contract that reflected the pick up and drop of addresses and the price of $900 dollars. I signed the contract, which also required I give my credit card info. "Andrew Kane" told me I had to sign the contract right away so he could schedule the driver. This was several weeks before my scheduled pick up day. At the time, this seemed reasonable, but looking back with 20/20 hindsight, it was definitely a red flag. "Andrew" would text me periodically over the next few weeks, saying he secured a driver and confirming my pick up date and time multiple times. He made it sound like a done deal.



HOURS before my scheduled pick up, I get a call from "Andrew Kane." He says the driver was not aware of the distance my car is being shipped and is requesting $300 more. He sent me a new contract -- even though I had already signed our $900 contract weeks ago! -- with the new price. He called me and texted me multiple times and said I had to sign the new contract right now or I wouldn't get a driver. I asked him how it was possible that the driver only just now is learning the distance the car was to be shipped-- was $900 just an arbitrary number he put on the contract?? "Andrew" had no answers for me, he just claimed "the driver is asking for more money, not me." Well, then why would I be the one paying?? I told him this was a breach of contract and it was inappropriate for him to ask this of me, and then put such pressure on me. He then said (this is an exact quote from a text): "It is only $300 dollars more than we agreed I understand it is uncomfortable situation for you but it is road business." I told him $300 might not be a lot to him, but it is to me, and maybe HE should pay it! It then was made clear that he HAD NOT booked a driver weeks ago as he had claimed. He was only just now calling for a driver and scrambling. I told him this is unacceptable. I should not be ripped off mere hours before my scheduled pick up just because he has poor communication with his drivers. After much back and forth, long story short, I told him to stop contacting me, to cancel my pick up, and I wished him the best of luck with his fraudulent business.

He then started calling and texting me over and over claiming he could get a driver "right now" for "only $1,150" and he would cover $50 (an insulting offer), but I had to act now. I said absolutely not, and then he said he would cover $100. It was actually hilarious how he tired to "sweeten" this bait and switch deal. I had scheduled my entire day around the pickup that he had told me would occur between 1 and 2, and it was still hours before that time, so I was not home even if I wanted to take him up on these offers. However, even if the perfect situation arose and I got the previously agreed upon price of $900, I would not trust this company with my car for anything. I kept turning him down, but he kept making all sorts of alternative (false) promises in a desperate attempt to swindle me out of my money. I told him point blank I want to cancel and I told him I do not do business with crooks, yet he kept pestering me.



For some reason, the Google reviews are generally positive (don't worry, I left a review there too). Shame on me for not looking at Yelp. The Yelp reviews tell the real story. There are horror stories worse than mine of bait and switch tactics and even holding onto customers' keys at delivery until they pay more. I recently had to ship my car from Dallas TX to Irvine CA and my rep Mateo was vey helpful every step of the way! My car picked up and delivered on the days promised. Once it was confirmed with a driver I was provided the drivers number who I was able to communicate with once my vehicle was in transit.



Oh I can't forget the prices were very reasonable and I was offered a discount for shipping 2 vehicles even though they had to pick up on different dates. If you need your car shipped this is the company to go with, door to door customer satisfaction!

IF YOURE LOOKING FOR A RELIABLE BROKER GO TO NEPTUNE SHIPPING (that's where I booked my car and it was a seamless process) This company is a scam. They offer you a price they know full well they will not be able to find a trucker at that price. The day of pickup I called them (after being in contact for weeks) to see when the truck would arrive. It was very apparent that they hadn't booked any driver at all. Then they tried to pressure me into booking a driver that was 700 DOLLARS OVER THE INITIAL QUOTE. Then they proceeded to try to bully and harass me. Like I said ship with Neptune they're transparent about the process and are professionals.

I paid the reservation fee for one price and they said it would be picked up then they went up on the shipping fee ok fine so 5/31 my vehicle was suppose to get picked up I was calling all day 3 different people answered the phone and said we was gone talk to the manager then the person I was working with said the driver was a hour away at 3:50 so I waited two hours before contacting them again and again the driver will call bit never called so at 7:30pm I asked for my money back because nobody never contacted me or a driver never came. so I had to pay another 100 for another company to pick up my vehicle and they acting like they can't refund me my money.

Then they said they couldn't pick it up in northern Michigan in our time frame so we took the car to Toledo, Ohio where they said they could pick it up on our agreed upon date. That is when they said they needed $1400 to move it instead of the agreed upon $800 after we had moved the car 300 miles to make it easier for them. After a very intense phone call they said they would move it for $1100. I declined and we drove the car to Florida. I also warned them not to charge my card as I would contact law enforcement for theft and dispute the charge on my card. They did not charge me a cancellation fee. Also the claim to be BBB accredited. THEY ARE NOT. I filed a complaint with the BBB and against their DOT number! Again this company is nothing but a fraud. Absolutely DO NOT use this company! I was quoted $550 to ship my car from Tennessee to New York. I left $100 deposit so my cash on delivery to the driver was supposed to be $450. When I met the driver, he showed me an invoice that I owes him $600 and would not release the vehicle unless I paid that. I tried calling the company and no answer. I had no choice but to pay the $600. I have reached out over text and calls and no response. These people are absolute crooks and do not use them.

Stay away! These guys are crooks! They will oversell and under deliver. They will sign a contract to ship your car for a price, and then it's bait and switch time. Michael Brown is a crook and should be reported, though that's probably not even his real name. I used US Star trucking to transport a vehicle from Northern California to Southern California. Michael assured me this is a regular route. He prepared a contract for $400 total. The day after the contract was signed, he called me to tell me my car could be picked up tomorrow. I said that was great. Then he said it would be $700. I immediately told him no, ship the car for the contract price. I didn't hear from him for 6 days. Then he called me again and said the car could be picked up. But it would be $550 - assuring me this was after he negotiated a $50 discount with the driver. I told him no, $400 is the contract amount. He said, "Well that is the price based on shipping last week." Another week goes by and my credit card is charged with no word from Michael. Instead of the $100 charge, I was charged $104. I called his direct line and left a message. I called Customer Service and spoke to a very unprofessional lady who said she would transfer me to Michael. Nothing happened. I texted Michael and I emailed him. I finally got a response that said my car would be picked up on Thursday and that there was tax on the $100 making it $104. That seemed like a load of crock since where and why is there a 4% tax rate. I texted him back to ask him to confirm contract rate and got no response. I called him again, left a message, no response. I messaged him again and told him don't send the driver if it isn't for the contract price. Again, no response. The truck driver showed up to pick up and says he has an agreement to deliver car for $350, not $300 which would be the balance of the contract due. The driver was actually really nice and I rescinded to paying the extra $50 on delivery, considering myself somewhat fortunate after all the other horror stories. The truck driver said this is common for brokers to misprice. The driver did arrive with my car and I paid him the extra $50 above the contract amount. I think the 5 star reviews are false reviews - people paid to review without actually getting service from the company. Stay clear of these guys - they are not trustworthy and not worth your business!

WORST COMPANY EVER. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. DANIEL WAS THE WORST.

This is the worst company ever. They literally are frauds. I dealt with Daniel at this company and he was just the absolutely worst, rudest person ever. Here's my story -
I reached out to them and we had a deal for $1200. They asked me to sign a "contract" which I did (I found out later that other companies don't ask to sign contract until they assign a driver). Daniel told me that they would not charge anything until they assign a driver to me about a day before the transport date. 1 week before the transport date, they asked me to raise the price to $1300. I was pissed but I agreed. They amended my contract and had me sign the new contract which I did. At this time, I cut the call and receive an email that they charged my card $208. I was pissed again but just was patient. Now, the worst thing. 1 day before the transport date, I called them to ask for the driver details. Daniel said they were not able to find any and asked me to raise the amount to $1450. This was just over the top for me. I asked for a refund of the fees that they had already charged and he flat out denied that they did not charge anything. I sent him screenshots of the charge which specifically mentioned their company name. He still denied that it was them. This was just absolute worst experience of my life. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I had to contact my bank to dispute the charge. I still have not received the refund.

Super frustrating experience with US Star Trucking, I would recommend avoiding this broker.

They claim to have their own drivers they are scheduling but they don't. They had me sign a contract with the date and pickup/drop off addresses and they also listed reservation fee ($250). They called the day of the scheduled pickup and said there were no drivers available and had me sign a new contract with another reservation fee ($500) for pickup for following day. I asked about the increased charge and the broker claimed the driver wanted more to transport my car. Then a broker called and tried to delay my pickup a second time and after going back and forth ultimately I was given a phone number to call and text an actual driver myself to schedule pickup. Fortunately he was actually able to accommodate me.

TLDR: They charged me $500 to delay my move by two days and have me schedule pickup myself. Wish I had read other people's reviews before doing any business with them.

This company posted my request to transport on the national board which makes it look like we have a contract to other transport companies. I have asked them to remove it so that I am able to move forward with a better company. It is still posted so they don't care to do the right thing.

I decided to use US Star Trucking to ship my car from Denver to Jacksonville, BIG MISTAKE! I signed an agreement with them for $750. The guy said that I had to pay $100 on a card at time of pickup and the rest cash upon pick up. I signed the agreement for this exact quote. In the terms & conditions, it said that the shipper cannot raise the price, and it said nothing about having an extra 10 days to hunt for a driver that would accept the price we agreed upon. Two days before leaving, they said they couldn't find a driver for this price, and that I had to pay an extra $150. I told them that I would have my lawyer call for breach of contract, and he did leave a message with their legal department, but we never heard back from them. The sales rep's name was Adam. I kept a firm no, and said you are not going to take advantage me, this is unacceptable, and what you are telling me is NOT in the contract I signed. Being that I had to make a decision, I ended up signing a 2nd agreement after getting off the phone and arguing with them for $800, or so I thought.

Upon the driver arriving with my car, the delivery guy says $850. I started to cry, as I had only the remaining $700, and no access to my bank account and couldn't pay them the extra $50 that I agreed to, or the extra $100 they were expecting. I pulled up the 2nd agreement and it was for $850, not the $800 we spoke about.

These people take advantage of people and do not care about anyone but themselves. They won't be getting the extra $50 or $100 from me, let them take me to small claims court.

I agreed to a price of $900 and signed a contract a few days before the pick up day. On the day of pickup, they tell me the driver wants to charge $1250 and if I agreed to the price. I said no, and he asked what my highest price was. I said the price I agreed to was $900 and would cancel if it was more than that. They told me they would charge $200 for a cancellation fee. Stay far away from this company.

I don't believe these reviews for one minute. I've been dealing with your company for over a week and what started out as "sign this contract for a $300 charge" has turned into "you have to pay $450 because that's all we can do, or pay a $200 cancelation fee." This company doesn't honor the contract I signed and literally FORCES ME to agree to a higher price, otherwise I don't get my vehicle. I have ALL the screenshots and ALL the SIGNED contracts proving this, but now I'm paying even more! And needless to say, I can't even contact a supervisor, so I'm pretty much stuck. So this company swindles you by offering you a low price, has you signed the contract locking you in, then slowly raises the price telling you that if you want to break the contract it'll be $200. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!

****I see that this company replies to the positive reviews and stays away from the negative ones. Still no call from a supervisor regarding the mishandling of my signed contracts. Looks like I'm not worth a damn since they already got their money out of me. And FYI, the "$50" payment on my credit card turned to a $52 charge. Unbelievable liars!****

If you are considering doing business with this company sort by bad reviews. All these other reviews tell the same story, this comany gets you vunerable and then corners you for more money! Look at the BBB for yourself. Also Google Street view shows the business is just some residential house in Tennesee

My boyfriend and I wanted to ship our cars to California from Vermont. The price was shockingly low. The website looked legit and reviews were good so we agree $1800 for 2 cars.

The day before delivery we could not get a hold of the representstive. Less than 24 hours before pick up she emails and claims she texted us already but must be having phone trouble. Not only that, she says the driver had "engine trouble" and even sent a picture for proof. Later we read this was a common scheme pulled on other people. Shes tells us the only way to ship it is to pay another driver $3700!!

We promptly declined doing business and were told we would also get a refund of the down-payment. I posted this review a few months back but took it down because the owner Bill texted my boyfriend telling him to take down the reviews or he would charge our card. Texts are included here .

Not only this, I had recommended this as a cheaper company to a friend nearby after reaching out to him he tells the exact same story.

They just tried to snatch $200 out my account for a cancelation fee for a reservation I did not make but also because the reviews I left weren't positive but honest. He said if you don't change it to positive then I will charge the cancelation fee. So he threatened me with a fee for the reservation I did not make.

After quoting a price to me, shocker it increased. I decided to fly up and drive my car home, and the person representing them sent me some "lovely" messages because I didn't use them. Wtf. Seriously? Ummm I didn't have any issues. I flew up and drove my car home. Figured be my best option. Especially after dealing with all the bs of trying to get it transported.

"These people are 100% fraudulent SCAM ARTISTS. Just as EVERY other review states". that's completely true. They get the money from the customer and keep it, never pay for our trip.

Paid a deposit in the amount of $100.00 with a pick up charge of $200.00. The pick up charge was a scam. The pick up charge was changed to $450.00.

The company should not be in business, I am sure I am not the only person getting scam. How such a company can be in business????

Absolutely terrible company. I was quoted a price 0f $700 on December 2 for a pickup on January 2. I gave them a down payment of $200. Jan 2 came and went. Now they tell me the price will be $1200 and are claiming because this is now a Holiday rate. They are not honoring a signed contract for the date listed. I was told this would happen and now it is. Do not use this company.

Absolutely a fraud!!! Sent us a contract for $800 and then the night before pick-up tried to raise the price by $500!!! We called BBB in TN and they said they are not affiliated with them at all. They are really a fraud!! Do not use.
