Many of us have commitments to get a car somewhere by a date so there's often no option but to pay the new "doubled" rate. I also sensed that none of the service people are in the US and they are essentially reading a script to disgruntled customers. They scramble at the last minute to find a transporter who's an independent trucker. USA Carship was one of my worst business encounters. No way I would ever work with them again or recommend them to anyone. Just a horrible experience.

They use 3rd party drivers who set their own prices. They take a $100 deposit. Read the fine print. When I cussed him out, he came down $200 bucks.

This company came through last minute! With only a days notice, they were able to ship my car from Washington state and deliver it to California. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because they couldn't nail down a time for pick up. The car arrived in the same condition as when it was picked up. Frank Steven was great to work with. I recommend USA CarShip.

He states it's the driver's blah blah blah. If USA Car Shipo is an experienced transport broker, they should be able to know the rates and their bids should be within a reasonable margin of error.



This means one of two things. Either David is unexperienced in his job, so much so that his initial estimate was more than 2.5x underestimated. That or more likely, David is a deceitful individual who intentionally set unrealistic expectations from the start. He then tries to take your down payment so your stuck with him and probably makes nearly as much keeping deposits than actually providing a legitimate service. He you book, he then will change the price and give excuses as to why there is now such a substantial increase the last minute so your stuck with them. NO THANK YOU!

They seem to deliver a low-ball offer, then deliver a higher quote after they get their deposit, so they get paid either way. "Finn" was the contact I was working with.

What a painful experience! My broker was William Tod. He was very persistent with very frequent calls trying to earn my business. I informed him that I was shopping around with estimates. William pressed on and frequently called me.



He gave me a really great quote of $695. He stated that once I sign the contract, there could be flex in the balance but it would not be more than $150.



The deposit was $150. All I had to do is pay the driver the balance of $545 cash. When it came to the pick up day, the driver never showed up. When I called William, he said he could have a driver at my location in two hours but the driver wanted more money. The balance would be $1,500. I was shocked. This was 3 times the estimated quote. I did not have that type of money.



He explained to me till the point of nauseam that this is the going rate for the distance my care needed to be transported. He even threw the "the contract that you signed" line. I was fully enraged.



I tried to explain that he should have done his due diligence of researching accurate rates to provide me with an actual estimate. William just kept on trying to explain that the rates are set by the driver as if I could not understand what he was trying to say.



Even after requesting the speak with a supervisor, the supervisor was either at lunch or just not available. I even requested a refund. William Tod stated that a refund would not be in my best interest because the rates are set forth by the driver.



If he was honest from the start, I could have made a better purchasing decision including perhaps maybe not shipping the car at all.

my total tariff came to $110. that was the agreed upon pricing and that is what I signed my signature for. it states above that that the values cannot be changed. yet I am being told that I need to pay $195 on top of the $50 deposit I put down believing that my bill would be $110. I have read the terms and conditions and am still being pressured into paying that $195. I will not pay that amount when what I contractually agreed to was $110. Someone get Jemima off of this board asap.

Fortunately my neighbors are very good friends so I left the truck on the street (since we sold and closed our house Friday AM) and they put the keys under the seat Saturday morning. I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with USA CarShip Inc. I was initially contacted by a representative named David Mayer, who provided an attractive quote of $740 for shipping my car. He assured me that the final quote would not exceed the initial quote by more than $50.

Trusting his words, I decided to go ahead with their service, rejecting other providers who had given me higher quotes. However, my suspicions grew as David repeatedly told me not to worry. My fears were confirmed when, at the last minute, I was asked to pay $1,250 - significantly higher than the initial quote and even the quotes from other providers.

When I confronted David about his earlier promise, he simply responded that I had signed the contract. It's important to note that USA CarShip Inc. is a brokerage company and not a moving firm. Once you've made the initial payment, there's no turning back.

I consider myself fortunate that this was not a huge financial loss for me, but I strongly advise others to avoid USA CarShip Inc. Be wary if a representative repeatedly assures you not to worry - it may be a red flag.

Lastly, I suspect that "David Mayer" may not be the representative's real name as he had an Indian accent. It's possible that he might change his name after negative reviews like this one.

In conclusion, I would not recommend USA CarShip Inc. for car shipping services due to their misleading quotes and poor customer service.

This company is a booking service and don't have their own trucks so after you reserve them to pick up your vehicle, they then have to find a company, truck, driver, etc. that can accommodate and pick up your vehicle. This is where the confusion, frustration, price changes, etc. happen because they have to actually find someone to pick up your vehicle after you book them and if you're like me, you assume that they were the company to pick up your vehicle too but they are just a go-between. I feel like the 1 star reviews are accurate but the frustration is probably from them (including me) not knowing that they are a 3rd party who is there to just book the reservation but has to go out and actually find a truck/driver to pick up the vehicle.



So because of that and me not doing my homework...I'll give em 2 stars but I won't use them again and will definitely do my homework, ask the proper questions, etc. before using a service like this.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with USA CarShip Inc. I was initially contacted by a representative named David Mayer, who provided an attractive quote of $740 for shipping my car. He assured me that the final quote would not exceed the initial quote by more than $50.

Trusting his words, I decided to go ahead with their service, rejecting other providers who had given me higher quotes. However, my suspicions grew as David repeatedly told me not to worry. My fears were confirmed when, at the last minute, I was asked to pay $1,250 - significantly higher than the initial quote and even the quotes from other providers.

When I confronted David about his earlier promise, he simply responded that I had signed the contract. It's important to note that USA CarShip Inc. is a brokerage company and not a moving firm. Once you've made the initial payment, there's no turning back.

I consider myself fortunate that this was not a huge financial loss for me, but I strongly advise others to avoid USA CarShip Inc. Be wary if a representative repeatedly assures you not to worry - it may be a red flag.

Lastly, I suspect that "David Mayer" may not be the representative's real name as he had an Indian accent. It's possible that he might change his name after negative reviews like this one.

In conclusion, I would not recommend USA CarShip Inc. for car shipping services due to their misleading quotes and poor customer service.

my total tariff came to $110. that was the agreed upon pricing and that is what I signed my signature for. it states above that that the values cannot be changed. yet I am being told that I need to pay $195 on top of the $50 deposit I put down believing that my bill would be $110. I have read the terms and conditions and am still being pressured into paying that $195. I will not pay that amount when what I contractually agreed to was $110. Someone get Jemima off of this board asap.

Their first driver didn't show up and their second driver didn't show up, but if I agreed to pay about $1,500 more, they could find me another driver. Then they had numerous reasons on why my deposit return was being delayed. It took about 20 days and a similar Google review before they refunded my deposit.

Additionally they said that they would pick up the car on a Tuesday but infact picked it up on a Thrusday. I had to stay home from work for three days. They were untruthful most times I spoke with them. One should never use them. I made the mistake of giving them a deposit otherwise I woulld have gone elsewhere.

I need led a car shipped from Texas to California and Jason did a great job of scheduling and checking before during and after the transportation. The service was reasonably priced. The car wasnt damaged and it arrived within the communicated delivery window. I would use USA carship again.

Told me it would be $950 and then the day of pick up said it would be $1925. Couldn't cancel because I needed my car picked up and there was a $200 cancellation fee. Got totally lied to. And they picked my car up 3 days late.

USA CarShip is a scam. Wish I read the reviews first. It's as most people are saying- it is a bait and switch tactic- $200 upfront, another $200 to cancel, currently, it is more than a week past when the truck was supposed to be delivered. There are now quoting us over double the initial price we signed a contract for and still cannot provide us any more details, they avoid us when we call, etc. We are disputing the charge with our bank and blocking them from ourselves. Bad, bad business. If anyone has the time to sue them- do it for those of us who don't have time to! Go get-'em! Bunch of Indian people giving us false names like Scott Robinson and such. Bleh.

This company is a scam! I've already reported them to the authorities and I have their IP address and phone number through a hacker who managed to contact. They will steal your money and not actually ship the vehicle for you! They sounded so genuine on the phone. It's a bunch of Indian people calling from the same place and they will get your credit card information and take your deposit and then never call you or Never follow up.

Just remember that the original price they give is a quote. there are also many variables to be mindful of when shipping a car across the country, so it is important to be aware of this when arranging pick up and drop off times. I wasn't available for either pick up or drop off and I had friends meet up with the the drivers. My friends had no problem coordinating with the driver. My car made it safe and sound from Philadelphia to LA. This is probably one of the cheapest services for car delivery and I would definitely use them again.
